When we talk about equipment needed to participate, protective eyewear is a requirement. But did you know that shooters actually learn a lot about the physics of light as they perfect their technique. Certain lenses work best in bright light, others work best in low light. Everyone's eyes and brain process light and colors differently. Thank you Cherokee Rose for a great video demonstration of how lenses can enhance your performance.

Our team coaches met last night to discuss plans for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. Current team members have been given a deadline to indicate their intention to return this fall, pay dues and submit their release forms. Once we have confirmed our returning members, we will be able to determine how many open spots we have open. If you are a parent with an interested student, please message us here to be placed on our interest list.

Twelve teammates traveled to Savannah, GA to compete in SCTP Regionals at the historic Forest City Gun Club this weekend. Events included Super Sporting Clays, Sporting Clays, S***t and Trap. As a team we placed 10th of 39 teams from across our region! Highlights from the event included:
-John Robert Reynold scoring a 97 in Trap which earned him a 4th place individual rank! He was joined by Ian Brooks, Joseph Dean and Clay Marino all scoring 93s which secured a 3rd place tie for the team score for the event!
-Joseph Dean landed 3rd place award in the Senior/Junior Varsity Super Sporting Clays division.
-Mason Spratlin and Ian Brooks both finished in the Top 100 of 319 participants.
We are so incredibly proud of these young men and are using this experience to encourage everyone to prepare for SCTP Alabama State competition in June!
