It is back to school time! Time to dust off those pencil boxes and backpacks and begin a new school year.

These are all strategies used at school as it is important to us that our content supports what your children are learning in school. Swipe right to see how these materials became a fun and engaging activity. In our July box, kids were provided simple directions and the materials pictured to help them build a marshmallow shooter. I tested it out with my kids and they had so much fun putting it together and putting it into action. They realized that the marshmallow had to be placed just right inside of the craft roll and the balloon pulled back pretty far to get those marshmallows shooting far across the yard. It was so much fun and a great way to get their minds thinking about the function of the object.
