We want to do a huge thank you to Andrew DeHerrera and Colorado USSSA/GSL for raising money at the Pink Out in Westminster last week. This community is always showing up for those in need! We appreciate you.

We want to give a big shout out to Patty Harsch, who donated $310 to BACa Foundation, from her Colorado Senior Games tournament this weekend. We appreciate you so much, Patty!

Lastly we closed out Sunday with two divisions going to an if game! First we have the Coed Open division with Carpe Diem taking the rings again this year. One more swing didnt make it easy by taking it to an if game with a hard faught 2nd place and SK coming in 3rd. In the coed D division its a similar story with Pride bringing home the rings after Level up took them to an if game for a strong 2nd place. Ambush came in 3rd after losing the 2nd game of the day. Not to be outshined was the Coed E division with our larges division of the event with 32 teams! Saucy dominated by going undefeated and winning the rings. After losing to Pitch Slap earlier in the day Degenerates came back thru the losers bracket to beat them and take the prize at 2nd place knocking Pitch Slap to a strong 3rd place. 254 games over 3 days, 116 teams, lots of donations, amazing vendors, valuable friendship, lots of hard work by our umpires and so many memories. Thanks again to everyone for continuing to support those affected by cancer! Now time for rest and recovery!

Sorry for the delay on the Men’s and coed posts today as I only had a short break at work today. Men’s had an amazing tournament!! In the Men’s open division Denver Doughboys/Loft 58 Ink/Spartan Real Estate went undefeated and won the rings. Raised Different took 2nd in the open division and Banana Slugs took 3rd. In the Men’s D division Legendary Built took the rings with T-21 taking the 2nd place prize and Elite taking a strong 3rd place. In the mens E division we had our largest division of Saturday with 25 teams and WTP bringing home the rings after an if game against BTS Prime Plumbing & Heating who took 2nd and it was a repeat as they faced each other last year in the championship game. Not to be forgotten was La Onda after losing their 2nd game of the day they came back to take 3rd place with 9 games on the day. Thanks again for all the teams that purchased home runs and mulligans all raising money for the cause!

It’s a wrap. Huge thank you to all our sponsors, donors, teams, vendors, umpires and volunteers that make this event such a huge success every year. Here is a recap and photos for Saturday Women’s and Women’s top finishes and Ring winners! I will be posting Mens and coed next. In open SD Lighting/Be Happy took home the rings with ByU/Team Baca finishing 2nd, and Synergy coming in 3rd. For the D drop down bracket Synergy took home the rings with Heckin Pround finished 2nd and Savage af coming in a strong 3rd. In the E division we had Ladies Night taking home the rings with Lady Hype coming in 2nd. Congratulations to all the amazing women coming out and supporting this cause knowing you will have to play multiple weekends in a row with the huge Women’s Draft next weekend with Welker Katelynn! He will be at the Women’s Draft next weekend in Brighton and still donating to the BACa Foundation to help all of those affected by cancer!

Day one started literally with a bang 😢. Everyone healing and after two lightning delays we made it thru all the games! Ty Johnson gave an amazing speach anf thank you to all that joined us on the field for our annual photo and moment of silence and rememberence for Shari Baca Home run derby a huge success with a 2 round playoff in men’s. Congratulations on winning our 1st HR Derby rings! Finished strong with our amazing Alumni “Senior’ games in full costume. Congratulations to Joy Jackson for winning our 1st Best Costume with Missy 2.0 (yep costume change old to new). Thanks everyone for your continued support and coming out to help those affected by cancer. This year we have more applicants than ever before. Come out and join in the raffle today and tomorrow and pick up your swag from LAZER SPORTSwear and Jimmy Carmona who donate back to the BACa every year. We greatly appreciate all of your continued support
