9th annual LCF Halloween party. Trick or Treat 🎃👻💀

What an amazing day competing with awesome people for a great cause. Huge shout out to for hosting an amazing event “Fund the Fight”, which donates money to women with breast cancer. A big thank you to and , without all your hard work, this would’ve not been possible 🙏🏽. You guys have a great box and cool peeps, we appreciative that everyone was so welcoming. Last but not least, to our squad for always showing out and to the friends and family who always come out to support us. ❤️🤍💙

Awesome day with the squad running the Colfax Marathon. We had 3 relay teams of 5 peeps and 6 peeps running the half marathon. Congrats to all those who participated and a huge thank you to all that supported us 🙏🏽. A few folks didn’t make the group pic, but you were definitely there in spirit. Another great day for the memory banks ❤️

And that’s a wrap for the 2022 CrossFit open. This is Lowry’s 10th year doing the Open. It has definitely evolved over the years, but it’s always a reminder of what’s really fun about CrossFit- camaraderie, community, pushing yourself to your fitness/mental limit, humility, accomplishment etc.. We are a small boutique box- old school CrossFit.

Celebrating our 9th annual Xmas party with the best group of people. Skipping last year was tough, but made this get together even more special. For those, who’s couldn’t make it out- you were missed. Huge shout out to Lowry Beer Garden, it started here in 2013 and it’s definitely our get together home. The was 🔥. Last but not least, to our members new and old- we wouldn’t be here without your continued support. Thank you 🙏🏽 for creating a beautiful, inclusive, diverse community ❤️🤍💙.

This last weekend we competed in one of our favorite comps that we’ve been doing for the last 7 years, Festivus games at CrossFit Loop. We sent 10 teams of 2 and had an absolute blast competing. We had 8 podiums finishes but the experience of hanging with our squad, along with everyone from members to family and friends coming out to cheer us on was equally as memorable. A heartfelt thank you to all of you who took time out of your day to support us. To all that competed, congrats for going out there- we all know it’s not easy to push yourselves to the absolute limits.

Yesterday we had 7 teams of 3 people compete in one our favorite competitions, The Festivus games. It’s a comp that caters to the novice to intermediate Crossfitter, BUT workouts are announced early on and all the 280+ competitors were fierce! The energy and vibe were awesome especially after very few comps in 2020. Big shoutout to CrossFit Loop for hosting such a fun event. So proud of all the teams that competed, a few teams came together literally last second. We had 5 peeps who committed with less than a week before the comp! We had 11 first time CrossFit competitors and I couldn’t be more proud of their commitment and determination to give it their very best. The camaraderie and support from the LCF family was off the charts. Huge shout out to everyone that showed up to cheer us on, it meant everything, so thank you 🙏🏽.

Today we celebrate eight years since we opened the doors of LCF. Much blood, sweat and tears have been shed within these walls. We take this opportunity to recognize the most important aspects of owning this gym. Number one is the honor that we have to be an important part of people’s lives and self care. Number two is the creation of an inclusive community. Number three and most importantly are all the life long friendships and love that has been forged here. ... I am a minority. I own a CrossFit Gym. Diversity and inclusion will always be my 💯 💯. Everyone will have their own definition of what success looks like. When I look at our box, I feel like I’ve been on the right track based on what was really important to me when I took the leap of faith to open the business. I’m proud to see a community that is not bound by race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, s*x, s*xual orientation and gender identity. My focus has always been building strength/fitness through a diverse community. I am appreciative of what the brand “CrossFit” has done for me. However, I will not stand or condone what the founder has recently opined on social media.
