We had a fantastic turnout today at the Travis County Collaborative Council meeting. Our cohort gave a focused and energized presentation on the national convening behind this movement, the intersections of race, child welfare, and domestic violence, as well as the Texas initiative moving forward. We are excited to work with more community partners to build a better way of serving children and families.

On August 7, 2019 we experienced the peacefulness of the Native Tamayame land which was the best setting for the Meeting at the Intersections where we began to re-imagine the Domestic Violence and Child Welfare systems' response to families in crisis. Our Texas Cohort is ready to bring change to these systems.
