This year’s tryouts will be held at the Vandegrift High School Tennis Courts on the following days and times:
Monday, May 11th — Boys & Girls Skills Tryout — 5pm-8pm
Tuesday, May 12th — Boys Tryout Tournament — 5pm-8pm
Wednesday, May 13th — Girls Tryout Tournament — 5pm-8pm

Big congrats to our State Bound Vipers! At the recent Regional tournament Liberty won 1st place 🥇 in Girls Singles, Milagro won 2nd place 🥈 in Girls Singles, and Alexandra & Ana won 3rd place 🥉 in Girls doubles. All 4 players advance to the State tournament May 7-8th in San Antonio. Congrats team! ❤️🎾

Congrats to McKenna and William on being named Second to None recipients for Viper Tennis today on Valor Day! This is a special award voted on by their teammates to recognize their character, respect, honor, and commitment to the team and their sport in honor of our school’s namesake 1st Lt. Matthew Vandegrift.

Varsity District results:
Liberty Benfield won girls singles advancing to the regional tournament
Milagro Wilson got second in girls singles also advancing to the regional tournament. Ana Mata and Alexandra Macarie got second in girls doubles advancing to the regional tournament.
McKenna Boyett and Quinn Steen got third in mixed doubles. William Mattox and Case MacPhie got third in boys doubles. Congratulations to all of our athletes and wish them good luck at regionals this coming week! Go vipers! 🐍🎉
