Big day for Austin Wrestling Academy 🦇🤼‍♂️🤼‍♀️

We hit the Cedar Park Tournament and our kids LET IT FLY. Big wins, big throws, big moments all day long.

What stood out most is our wrestlers aren’t just competing…they’re growing. Trying new techniques, opening up, and learning this Freestyle/Greco style FAST.

That’s what this season is about.

Couldn’t be more proud of this group. The work is showing. The mindset is changing. And we’re just getting started.

Reminder:

Spring Break Practice is tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday from 3-430 pm.

Our First tournament is next Saturday, 3/28 @ Cedar Park HS. Get signed up before they sell out!

Ready to level up? Starting March 10th, we’re hitting the mats at Bowie HS to transition into Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling!

Whether you're looking to dominate the off-season or eyeing a state title next year, "FRECO" is how you get there.

Audrey sets the bar at Texas Nationals. Qualifying for State, by way of pin through the finals and claiming the title. Avenging a loss from less than a month ago and showing why she's a force to be reckon with. She's already qualified at G5 (even though she's a middle schooler) and taking the championship home at G4 age group. When she shows up, she shows out. Congrats!!!

🔹 Keep track of the match number — this is the best way to know when they’re up

🔹 Refresh the page often (it doesn’t always auto-update)

Huge congratulations to Brody Brandt (D3 120) and Audrey Brandt (HS 170) for punching their tickets to the Texas State Championships!

Brody went on an absolute tear today — 4 matches, 3 falls, and a DOMINANT Championship performance.😤

Audrey, wrestling in the High School division at just 13 years old, battled through a tough bracket and still found her way onto the podium, finishing 4th with a gritty 2–2 record. 🙌

AWA couldn’t be more proud of you two!
