Binge Eating. Let’s bring some knowledge around ED’s to the platform today!
I want to talk about my client for a moment. While she asked to not give out her full identification - she was happy to share her story.
She came to me determined to beat her binging after years of being in the cycle. She wanted control back over her life. So, week by week we worked hard on it. With different tools to help her combat her binging. Her therapist and I were in constant communication to see the best way we could help her.
She came to me from someone else who gave her a cookie cutter meal plan, habit changes and set her free. Oof.
We went through her happy foods, goals, triggers and together made a plan that worked for her, and without restricting her.
I’m here to say… You aren’t alone.
You’re worth so much more than just a generic meal plan. And generic work out regimen. Don’t feel you need to do your journey alone. Make sure you feel heard and listened to - after all, this is for YOU to hit YOUR goals.
Again. For those who do not know: Binging is more than just a one time overeating session of food, it’s a repetitive cycle and typically performed in private. Either looking to fill a void, comfort, emotional or could be trauma based. Again, not a one fits all method.
Binging can coexist with other ED’s as well.
If you or someone you love battles BED, be that person of TRUST for them!

Imagine if you woke up today and chose you.
For me, that’s what it took. It was either make this change or face the health consequences. So, I chose me.
My reality wasn’t a healthy one. I lived in the ever flowing cycle of restricting to be the tiniest version of me.
Everyday was a choice, that I got to make to choose me. To choose the version of me I wanted to be.
In the journey you get to reinvent yourself and become the person you always longed to be.
You get to challenge yourself to unthinkable things you never imagined could do.
And sometimes, it takes a couple jump starts for it to really stick. And that’s okay, too!
While we could look back and question everything of where it went wrong, remember “you cannot hold yourself to a standard that then you had not met yet”.
We’re here today, in this space together. Getting to do hold ourselves to new measure and new goals!
Today, I get to live a healthy life full of remarkable memories with family + friends without the constant anxiety knowing there would be foods around me, questioning my self-worth or over analyzing every single ingredient.
To live a life worth loving.

Hi! Welcome to my page! Let me introduce myself a tad bit and how my company came to be! ♥️
Firstly, I am Taylor! Most call me Tay, Fitmamatay, T or Coach Taylor.
Fitness + nutrition are two things that are near and dear to my heart. Growing up I was always the athlete. I even got a scholarship for track in college (then life happened).
In 2014, I was officially diagnosed with my eating disorder. For the next few years it was an unhealthy cycle of under eating and over exercising. In the process I then met my buddy alcohol, and he helped me further numb myself into the toxic cycle. While alcohol involved calories, that didn't last long. I went to treatment briefly just to essentially learn how to play the ED system more. (Correct, treatment did not work for me). My care team was the beginning of my recovery - someone believed in me before I did.

In 2018, I had finished up college and just had my daughter. I left Missouri (my home state) in hopes of chasing a new life, support and mindset. While you can run, you cannot hide from your demons. Quickly the cycle reappeared alongside of PPD; those two combined was a scary time for my mind. Then there came a point where I had to do something. I didn't want my daughter growing up and seeing her mom like this... a broken warrior. So, quickly I had to put things into action. While this didn't happen overnight, it was a day-by-day type of journey. You have your setbacks, but that's apart of the course.
2019, was a pivot point of my journey. I challenged myself in a lot of uncomfortable situations and realities I had to come face to face with. I had to fall back in love with myself and heal from the inside, out. And so began a new era of me.
2020, I left my first hospital job here in Austin and switched careers knowing my heart was leading elsewhere. I then recieved my NASM certifications and started working with a small company here in Austin. This company caters to women + men in the recovery community and helps people see the power of fitness and the importance it plays in your mental health. I fell in love. Being able to help clients learn how to balance nutrition and see the powerful version of themself that they never knew was there. Woah. And then being able to work with women + men who were like I once was: broken, confused, and just trying to figure it out. Searching for a new life. Again, having someone believe in you before you even believe in yourself, it’s a powerful thing within itself.
Now, here in 2023. The mission of starting my company is to help humans become the most fierce and bravest version of themself. Everyday. In 2019, I always used to tell myself I wanted to LIVE UNDENIABLY FIERCE. To where I could handle my bad days with my great days. To feel so in love with myself that no one could take it away, I wanted to love ALL of ME again.
To the SAHM trying to build a healthy lifestyle, to the teenager who wants to be that powerful force within themself, to the working parents who need help with habitat changes to help their routine, to the gym goer who is feeling stagnant in their journey and needs support around their goals, to the person who doesn't know how to properly fuel their body and needs help learning how to cook and portions, or the individual who is having troubles with binging and needs support around it, or even YOU. Needing help starting a fitness journey and unsure where and how to start in and out of the gym/ home. I'm here for you.
