The Gift of Quality Time - Meditation M***a 06/07/2026

The Gift of Quality Time - Meditation M***a

I feel incredibly fortunate that my mom has lived just 1.1 miles away from me for the past 24 years. We talk almost every day, and I get to see her often. It's a gift that I never take for granted.

Recently, I had the opportunity to have a sleep over party four nights in a row at her house. While that may not sound extraordinary, it turned out to be one of the sweetest experiences I've had in a long time.

We woke up together each morning. We shared snacks in the kitchen, watched our favorite TV shows, laughed, talked, and simply enjoyed being in each other's company. There was no big event, no special occasion, no elaborate plans. Just quality time.

It reminded me of something important that it's not always the quantity of time we spend with people that deepens our relationships. It's the quality of that time.

When we slow down enough to truly engage with someone, something beautiful happens. We begin to notice the little things. We listen more carefully. We become curious about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. We create space for them to feel heard, seen, and safe.

These moments of genuine connection are what bring us closer together.

As I reflect on those precious days with my mom, I'm reminded that every relationship in our lives can benefit from a little more presence and intention. Whether it's with a spouse, child, friend, parent, or even a stranger, we have the opportunity to deepen our connections simply by showing up fully.

This week, I invite you to consider how you spend your time with the people you love. Can you listen a little more deeply? Can you put down your phone and be fully present? Can you create a space where someone feels safe enough to share what's really on their heart?

These simple acts of presence can transform relationships and create the kind of connection we all long for. And perhaps the most important relationship to nurture is the one you have with yourself.

If you're feeling called to deepen that connection, I would love for you to join us at the Coming Home to Yourself Retreat. Together, we'll gather together with a beautiful, supportive circle of women to reconnect with ourselves, open to growth and possibility, and experience the healing power of authentic connection. It is a loving environment where you can simply be yourself, feel supported, and remember the wisdom that already lives within you. I hope you'll join us.

When We Work Together Anything is Possible - Meditation M***a 05/31/2026

When We Work Together Anything is Possible - Meditation M***a

After our incredible retreat in Tuscany, seven of us decided to extend our adventure and explore the breathtaking villages of Cinque Terre. With colorful homes perched on cliffs, winding cobblestone streets, and stunning views of the Mediterranean, it felt like stepping into a postcard.

As the group leader, I was especially focused on making sure our travel plans went smoothly. Our last day in this magical region was here and we had one final challenge ahead of us: catching the last train back to Florence before our flights home the next day.

We arrived at the station early, giving ourselves plenty of time. As our train approached, I gathered our group of seven women, each with luggage in tow, and positioned us where I thought the train doors would stop.

Then chaos erupted and a large crowd surged forward, pushing past us and packing into the train. Before we could react, the doors closed right in front of our faces. And just like that, the train pulled away.

We stood there stunned. This was the last train that would get us to Florence in time. Missing it wasn’t really an option.

As I scanned the schedule, I spotted another train departing in 15 minutes. The problem? It would leave us only a few minutes to make a very tight connection to our original train route. Still, it was our only chance. I suggested we get on the train and we'd figure out the rest when we got there.

As we approached the station for our connection, I quickly assessed the situation. Seven women. Lots of luggage. Down one set of stairs. Across the station. Up another set of stairs. Six minutes.

I gathered everyone together and explained the plan. When the train doors opened, we moved. My friend Laura and I helped everyone unload their bags. We spotted a tiny elevator and somehow managed to squeeze all seven women and our luggage into it. When the doors opened, we raced to another elevator that would take us up to the correct platform.

Hearts pounding, bags rolling, women encouraging one another every step of the way. And with one minute to spare…we made it!

We sat on the train catching our breath, and high-fived each other knowing that teamwork really does make the dream work.

Every woman jumped in. We lifted bags (and people). We encouraged each other. We trusted the universe would take care of us. Together, we accomplished something that would have been incredibly difficult alone.

And that’s the magic that happens when women come together. We become stronger, braver, more resourceful and more capabable. We remind one another of who we are and what is possible.

That same spirit is at the heart of my upcoming women’s weekend retreat called Coming Home to Yourself. It’s about finding strength in vulnerability, courage in connection, and inspiration through shared experiences. When women gather with open hearts, incredible things happen. If your heart is longing for a weekend of connection, laughter, reflection, inspiration, and genuine community, I invite you to join us.

Holding a retreat in Tuscany was a dream come true. The beauty of the architecture and nature, delicious food and wine and warmth of the people in this region went far beyond my imagination. As I reflect on our recent experience, one of the things that touched me most deeply was not just the beauty of Italy, the slow mornings with cappuccinos, the laughter around the table, or the breathtaking scenery. It was each woman who attended.

There was something so natural and effortless about the way the women cared for one another throughout the retreat. Someone was always checking in, offering support, sharing encouragement, holding space, listening deeply, or simply making sure another woman felt seen and included. It reminded me that women have an extraordinary ability to nurture because it lives so deeply within us. That nurturing energy is one of the greatest gifts women bring to this world.

Women nourish families, friendships, communities, dreams, healing, growth, and connection. We hold each other through life’s transitions. We remind one another of our strength when we forget. We create warmth, beauty, safety, and belonging in ways both big and small.

This Mother’s Day, I hope you take time to celebrate not only mothers, but all women who have offered love, guidance, care, encouragement, or support when it was needed most. Sometimes the women who mother us are friends, sisters, mentors, daughters, grandmothers, teachers, or simply someone who showed up with compassion at exactly the right moment.

To all of the nurturing women in our community — thank you for the love you bring into this world. Wishing you a beautiful and meaningful Mother’s Day filled with appreciation, connection, and love.

And if your heart is longing for deeper connection, restoration, and time surrounded by a beautiful group of supportive women, I would love for you to join us this fall for the:

Igniting Your Internal Flame - Meditation M***a 02/01/2026

Igniting Your Internal Flame
When the weather turns cold like it has been lately, our bodies naturally want to do what nature has always done. We hibernate.

Just like other creatures, we instinctively slow down. We cozy up indoors, curl up near a fire, sip something warm, and conserve our energy. This isn’t laziness or lack of motivation, it’s wisdom. It’s your nervous system responding to the season. It’s natural.

And yet, even when the temperatures are low on the outside, and your energy or inspiration feels dim, your inner flame never goes out. This flame, which is your life force, creativity, desire, and motivation, always lives within you. It doesn’t disappear in winter. It simply waits.

Sometimes it needs rest. Sometimes it needs warmth. And sometimes, it needs a little stoking.

When we tend to our inner flame with intention, it becomes a powerful source of energy that can reignite dreams, awaken creativity, and reconnect us to what matters most.

Here are a few gentle ways to ignite your inner flame during this colder, quieter season:

• Create warmth from the inside out
Move your body in ways that feel nourishing rather than depleting like gentle yoga, stretching, walking, or slow, intentional breathwork. Heat builds energy.

• Feed your creativity, not your productivity
Write, draw, cook, dance or journal without an agenda. Creativity is fuel. It doesn’t need to be “useful” to be powerful.

• Light a literal flame
Candles, fireplaces, or even a single match can be a powerful reminder. As you watch the flame, ask yourself: What wants to come alive in me right now?

• Reconnect to desire
Not what you should want, but what excites you. Desire is one of the strongest sparks we have.

• Protect your energy
Rest is what allows fire to burn longer. Say no more often. Choose depth over speed.

Even in the stillness of winter, your inner flame is steady and alive. With a little attention, care, and warmth, it can grow brighter than you imagined.

This season is inviting you to tend the fire within.

Ladies, are you looking for a way to stoke your internal flame? Do you feel like you're holding the weight of the world and want to create some space for self-care and nourishment? Then "A Valentine's Night of Release for Women Doing Too Much" was created for you. Curious? Click the link for details and to save your space. Today is the last day for early bird pricing!

An Invitation Back to Yourself - Meditation M***a 01/18/2026

An Invitation Back to Yourself - Meditation M***a
Six weeks post hip surgery, I was officially cleared to dance!

I had been waiting patiently for that moment, counting the days, trusting the process and honoring my body as it healed. For someone who normally danced three days a week before surgery, the pause felt long. So when I got the green light, I didn’t tiptoe back in.

I jumped straight into a nine-hour dance workshop. As my daughter told me, I went from zero to hero.

We began with freestyle dance, and almost immediately I noticed something that brought tears to my eyes. My body felt amazing! No pain. Full range of motion. Ease. Freedom. Joy. I wasn’t thinking about my hip. I wasn’t guarding or compensating. I was simply in my body moving, expressing and feeling like myself again. It felt like coming home.

Throughout the day, the dancing ebbed and flowed with deep, expressive, sweaty, soulful. By the end, I was physically tired in that satisfying, earned way. I crawled into bed last night and had one of deepest sleeps I can remember in a long time.

And, even better, this morning I woke up feeling great. No pain. No setbacks. Just gratitude and a deep sense of celebration for what my body is capable of when given the right care, patience, and trust. I feel so thrilled to be back to myself!

And it made me reflect…

What is it that you’ve been longing to do, the thing that brings you back to yourself? The activity, practice, or expression that makes you feel alive, whole, and at home in your body?

So often we get distracted with life that we forget about what lights us up and ignites our lifeforce. So, let’s tap into that. Let’s listen to the call and begin honoring it. That part of you that brings you back home to yourself.

If this story stirred something in you, if you’ve been longing to return to yourself, to your body, to your joy, I want you to know there is a space waiting for you.

A Valentine's Night of Release for Women Who are Doing Too Much was created for women exactly in this moment to pause, reset and remember you they are.

It’s an invitation to move, breathe, dance and reconnect. Whether you feel disconnected from your body, craving deeper expression, or simply ready to feel like yourself again, this retreat offers a gentle path home.

If something inside you whispered yes while reading this, trust that. Sometimes the body knows before the mind catches up. I would love to welcome you into this sacred space on Saturday, February 7th from 3pm-7pm in Southwest Austin. Scroll down and click the link for details.

With Gratitude,

Roses Are Red, It’s Time for a New Script: A Valentine’s Night of Release for Women Doing Too Much - February 7th, 2026 - Austin, TX - Meditation M***a 01/16/2026

Ladies, have you ever felt tired because you are carrying too much?

I want to extend a heartfelt invitation to a special women’s gathering I am excited to co-create on February 7th in SW Austin!

This experience was born from a very real conversation many women are having about exhaustion, emotional labor, and the feeling of carrying more than our share in relationships, work, and life.

I’m honored to be partnering with Nicole Siegel, CSB®, who's work as a sexological bodyworker and trauma-informed practitioner is deeply grounded, respectful, and transformative. I personally completed her six-week Reset Your Erotic Rhythm program, and it was truly life-changing at the body-level, helping me release patterns of over-functioning and reconnect with myself at a deeper, more embodied level.

Together, we wanted to create an evening for women who are:

-deeply capable, thoughtful, and emotionally intelligent
-feeling stretched thin or burned out
ready to release old relational patterns without fixing, forcing, or over-processing
-craving more ease, authenticity, and reciprocity in their lives

This will be a women-only, carefully held space offering guided somatic release, gentle ritual, and a sense of deeper connection to yourself and others.

You Do Not Need to Be Partnered to Benefit
This night is for:

-women in long-term partnerships who feel overextended
-single women who want to enter future relationships without carrying old patterns
-women who sense they’re ready for something healthier in their relationship but don’t know how to let go of what’s familiar

If you’ve ever thought:
“I love my life, but I’m tired”
“I want to be met, not manage”

This evening was created with you in mind!

Space is limited. Click the link for additional details and to register TODAY!

The Girls are Back in Town - Meditation M***a 01/11/2026

The Girls are Back in Town - Meditation M***a Newsletter
This past week my heart felt especially full. My best friend Alisa, my soul-sister of almost 50 years, came to visit with her daughter, and something about being together again reminded me just how rare and sacred long-term friendships truly are.

Alisa and I have grown up side by side. We’ve known each other through every version of ourselves including awkward stages, big dreams, heartbreaks, reinventions, celebrations, and everything in between. Our friendship has deepened with time. It has rooted itself in a way that only decades of shared life can do.

What makes it even more special is that we both have daughters who are only children and they are just as close as we are. They played with each other during the baby and toddler phases. And, watching them as adults laughing together and sharing their own inside jokes felt like witnessing a living legacy of connection.

Of course my mom always joins the girl reunion. She has been a deep part of our friendship history and Alisa grew up with her as her second mom. Three generations of energy created something truly magical. We spent our days grounding into quality time, laughing until we cried, sharing stories that only we would understand, reliving old memories, creating new inside jokes, and having those full-on, pee-your-pants, moments that remind you how good it feels to be surrounded by people where you can fully be yourself. That kind of connection is everything.

It reminded me how important it is to nurture the friendships that have stood the test of time. To tend to them. To protect them. To keep the flame of friendship alive with presence, laughter, honesty, and love. If you are blessed to have even one relationship like this in your life, hold it close. Make time. Say the things. Laugh often. These connections are medicine.

And if you’re in a season of longing for deeper connection, sisterhood, and a place to be welcomed exactly as you are, then I invite you to join us for this special women's gathering...

Anterior Hip Replacement in Your 50s - What Healing REALLY Looks Like 01/04/2026

My Hip Replacement Journey

Two years ago, I could barely walk.
What started as stiffness slowly became pain, and then limitation. Simple movements I once took for granted like walking freely, running, flowing through yoga, moving without thinking became daily reminders that something was deeply off. I was eventually told I had bone-on-bone arthritis in my left hip.

Over the past year, I did everything I could to avoid surgery. I trained hard, lifted weights, built muscle, strengthened my body, and supported myself in every holistic way I knew how. And while my strength and stability improved, I simply could not overcome the loss of range of motion caused by severe arthritis. I realized no amount of effort could change bone-on-bone.

After a lot of soul-searching, research, and listening deeply to my body, I made the decision to have an anterior total hip replacement at age 52 this past December.

I went in incredibly healthy, at a high fitness level, knowing that my body was well-prepared to heal. I also knew I was young enough to recover well and resilient enough to do the work required on the other side. Most of all, I wanted my life back. I wanted to move, to run, to practice yoga, to dance, and to do the things I love without pain holding me hostage.

And I am so grateful to say it was a huge success!

I am now one month out from my total hip replacement, and I feel so good in my body. My movement continues to improve daily with zero pain, and each week I feel more like myself again.

When I was researching hip replacement before surgery, I spent hours on YouTube. What I noticed was that most of the videos were made by doctors, which was very helpful for understanding the procedure, but I didn’t see many that showed the real-life healing process. I wanted to know; What does day one, one week, one month actually feel like? What does movement look like? Pain levels? Medications? Supplements? Progress?

So I decided to create the video I wish I had found.

I documented my journey honestly from day one through week four showing my real healing process, my progression in movement, my pain levels, what I took for medication and supplements, and how I’m feeling now. No sugarcoating. Just real life, real healing, and real hope.

If you or someone you love are considering a total hip replacement, are navigating arthritis, or simply want to understand what recovery truly looks like, I made this for you.

Our bodies are wise. Sometimes healing doesn’t mean pushing harder, it means choosing differently.

Please share this video with someone who can benefit from this REAL journey and the hope it brings one month on the other side.
