That’s a wrap for the second annual TyTin Open competition held at TyTin Ranch in New Braunfels, TX! This year we sponsored the ground archery competition and had a fun time bringing together ground and horse archers.
Congratulations to everyone who medaled, competed, and came out to have some fun! We had a total of 17 ground archers and 12 competitors who competed in both ground and horseback archery.
Also, a huge shoutout to our volunteers that helped us run the competition, even in such cold and windy weather!

We’re in the final stages of Taybugha League, as part of Mamluk Academy, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone who has participated with us. 💪 Taybugha League is reserved to Mamluk Academy clubs and those practicing historical Mamluk techniques.
From January to September, we shot every month, competing head to head against 14 other clubs. We’re so dang proud to see the continued progress of each individual archer within this 9 month time period.👏👏👏
Did you know we have a club leaderboard? Checkout the link below to see all the TAA members who have participated in Taybugha League with us!

Kristie Bocanegra and Dieter Galvan have kicked up weekly practices again.
Making riding progress little by little. Even now it’s great to see the comparison of when we first started. Lots to learn, but we’ll keep at it!
Grateful for the opportunity to continue training with South Texas Archery Riders. With a bonus clip of Lucky enjoying his peppermints and Churro saying hi. Plus a pic with some of our fellow riders.
