Back to back tailgate BBQs and back to back huge Texas wins! This week I did some beef cheeks that came out perfectly.

Made some spare ribs for the tailgate and got to watch my first UT football game since moving back to Austin over 5 years ago!

Sliced up some pastrami to make some pizza and have as a side for the Big Game!

The pastrami was home cured and smoked a couple months ago then frozen. This was the point section and it was rendered perfectly.

This was just the flat and it was super juicy. I can't wait to try the point section that is vacpacked and ready to be reheated in the freezer!

Smoked beef cheeks and Barbacoa. I was inspired by and decided to give this cut a shot. I learned a few things and I am ready to crush the next batch even more.

Unrelated, but I got a recently after being let down by most of my pictures lately so I will be posting more going forward!

Memorial day weekend pork ribs were a hit. Thanks to .c.n.d for "lending" me a smoker to use after my old one fell apart.

Made my mom a boxing day brisket. Smaller than I am used to so it would fit on their Primo smoker, but still happy how it turned out. Happy holidays!
