The Frank Erwin Center is a multipurpose arena located on the UT Austin campus. Versatile & classic, the Center hosted a variety of events from 1977-2022.
Located in the heart of downtown Austin, the Frank Erwin Center served Central Texans with the best in live entertainment from 1977-2022. The multi-purpose facility is owned and operated by The University of Texas at Austin and served as the home court for the Texas Longhorns Men’s and Women’s basketball teams until 2022.

Today is the day! The Harlem Globetrotters are retuning for their last two games at the Erwin Center. In total 347,740 guests have attended a Globetrotters event since the building opened and we've hosted 48 performances since 1978. Texas Men's Basketball take on Texas Tech later this morning at 11:30am on ABC. Pre-game activities on the the North Plaza have already begun. Big Beertha, Bevo, and Smokey will be out for Texas Traditions. There will also be a special performance by Nané starting at 9:15 to 9:45am. 🤘
