The Jacob's Well Classic is back on August 15th and 16! This summer's hottest race just got warmer with the addition of time trial on Sunday featuring the infamous climb up Fulton Ranch Rd.

Get ready to experience the "race of truth" on our championship level course in Hempstead, TX!
5, 20 and 40 KM distances will be offered. Links to route files are posted on Bikereg in the event notes section. All routes are out-and-back for easy spectating.
With less than 40 m of elevation gain, this course is a pure test of your ability to cheat the wind and put down your best effort.
Most years feature a southerly breeze that allows you to go out hard and come back fast, but we'll see what the weather brings us and let you pace yourself to perfection!

Junior racers at TXTTC race for just $30. If you're under the age of 19 and registering for one of our junior fields or category fields your discount will be automatically applied. If you didn't receive the discount or are interested in racing a field where the discount has not been applied, please reach out. We are more than happy to help our young racers get the most out of their State Championship race experience!

We wanted to take a moment to discuss the schedule ahead of event day.
All categories will be run in the order shown on Bikereg with individual time trials taking place first, followed by a lunch break and team time trials. Your start times will be posted and emailed to you Friday morning.
The first start of the day will take place at 8:00 AM. Riders will follow at 30s intervals. A 1 minute break will be observed between categories and a 20 minute break will be observed between changes in course length. A lunch break will take place between individual time trials and team time trials.
In the event of any changes to the schedule, your start time will not be made any earlier than originally posted. It is your responsibility to be at the start at your assigned time. If you miss your start, report to the Commisaire at the start line and await their instruction.

Designed to level the playing field, "Merckx" Time Trials ensure every road cyclist has the equipment to compete on a level playing field.
At TXTTC you will find a robust selection of Merckx TT's. Our rules lay out the following requirements for competition in these fields:
-Double Diamond” road bike (non-tt) frame
-Standard drop bar
-No aero bars, bull horn bars or add-on extensions.
-No fairings or other aero fittings
-No disc wheels
-Maximum rim depth 60mm
-No pointy "aero" helmets
-No helmet-mounted visor
-No skinsuit/speedsuit. Jersey over bib or shorts only. -Extra style points for retro wool jersey.
-No shoe covers
-Socks below bottom of gastrocnemius muscle split

We had so much fun hosting the Rosedale Ride with the last weekend. Over 500 riders helped raise more than $200k for the Rosedale School of Austin.
It was a pleasure to serve with an amazing team of people to put on this ride and give back to the community!

On March 28th you can join the ride at an all-new venue in Murphy Park. 15, 25, 50 and 62 mile routes will take you through the quiet farmlands north of Austin and we'll finish with one heck of a party back at the park with .
The Rosedale Foundation supports , Austin's only public school for students with special needs. The Rosedale School is a transformational experience for their students and the special needs community in Austin, featuring learning opportunities, in-house medical clinic, transitions to life programs, and year-round community events.
