I recently decided to become a morning person (after years of thinking I just wasn’t one), and these sleep hacks have made a huge difference. 😴☀️
One of the best investments I made when I restarted my fitness journey was my Oura Ring—it’s been a game-changer, especially since I don’t take BC and use it to track the nuances of my cycle. It’s helped me understand my recovery, sleep quality, and how my body responds to different phases of my cycle.
If you’re trying to wake up feeling actually rested or want to understand your body better, these tools have been so helpful for me. Sharing my favorites below! 👇
Do you track your sleep or cycle? Would love to hear what’s worked for you!

Two years ago, I stopped working out consistently. I was eating “clean” and felt smaller in my clothes, but when I looked in the mirror… I did not look better. I had lost a lot of muscle mass, and instead of looking lean and strong, I just looked soft and deflated.
So I did what I thought was the answer—I cut even more. I got super lean, but I had no definition. Then reality hit: I needed to build muscle.
That meant eating more, gaining weight, and feeling uncomfortable in my clothes. It was a total mind f*** after spending so much time trying to get smaller.
If I could do it over again, here’s exactly what I’d do:
✅ Phase 1: Muscle Building (12 weeks)
Strength train 4-5x per week, focusing on progressive overload
Eat in a small surplus to build muscle without excess fat gain
Prioritize glutes, shoulders, & back for an aesthetic shape
✅ Phase 2: Fat Loss (8 weeks)
Keep lifting heavy (don’t switch to just cardio)
Drop into a moderate deficit (not too aggressive)
Keep protein high to preserve muscle
Most people do this process backwards—cutting first, then realizing they need muscle. If you’re starting from skinny fat, build first. If you do this right, you’ll be lean, strong, and confident by summer.
📩 Save this for later, and if you’re ready to do it right the first time, DM me “LEAN.”

Save this for your next grocery run! 🛒✨
I keep my meals simple and always build them around protein because if you’re not prioritizing protein, you’re making it harder on yourself. 👀 If you’re getting bored with your meals, don’t overcomplicate it, just switch up your fruits, veggies, or seasonings/sauces. Sometimes, the foods you got tired of eating just need a little comeback. 😉
Bottom line? Listen to your body, fuel it well, and hit your protein goals. I aim for 30g+ at every meal and snack to stay strong, energized, and progressing in the gym. 💪✨

Glute growth-how long does it really take?
I get this question all the time, and the answer? It depends. But for me, the biggest changes happened over two years of consistent effort. Not just showing up and doing random workouts-doing the right things for my body, over and over again.
I’ve always had a decent b***y (thanks to sports), but in my mid-20s, after a six-year break from lifting, things were not looking how I wanted.
Fast forward from 2023 to 2025-lots of intentional training, lots of protein and carbs, and here we are. Progress takes time, but if you’re patient and doing the right things, it will happen.
