Here’s the thing nobody tells you: two identical cars with two different diff setups will drive like completely different machines. Same motor. Same chassis. Same driver. Different result.

The job of the diff is simple on paper and easy to get wrong in practice, it splits power between your wheels. Nail it, and the car goes where you point it. Miss it, and you’re fighting the car instead of driving it.
Tight vs. loose isn’t about right or wrong, it’s a trade. Tighten it up and you get traction and stability, but the car fights you when you try to rotate. Loosen it, and rotation gets easy, throttle gets unpredictable.
The real skill isn’t picking a setting. It’s matching that setting to your track, your tires, and how you actually drive. That’s the difference between a setup that reads well on paper and one that’s actually fast.
Check your diff before you roll out. Every single time. The fastest guys on the track aren’t the ones with the best luck.
