💜 HAPPY COACHES DAY! 💜

Today we celebrate the coaches who give so much more than just their time.

The early mornings.
The late nights.
The practices after a long day at work.
The weekends spent at the ballpark.
The lessons repeated over and over.
The tough conversations.
The encouragement when a girl is struggling.
And the belief in her when she may not believe in herself yet.

Our Westside Diamonds coaches aren’t just teaching our girls how to throw, hit, field, or run the bases. They’re teaching them confidence, discipline, teamwork, resilience, accountability, and how to handle both winning and losing with character.

They celebrate the big moments, but they’re also there for the moments nobody sees.

To every coach who has poured their heart into our organization and our girls — THANK YOU. 🥎💜

Thank you for being mentors.
Thank you for being leaders.
Thank you for believing.
Thank you for caring.

And most importantly, thank you for helping our girls become not only better softball players, but better people.

From all of us at Westside Diamonds — Happy Coaches Day! 💜🩵

The impact you make reaches far beyond the field.

💎 HOLY. SUCCESS. 💎

Westside Diamonds started with ONE 9U team…Just one team, one vision, and a whole lot of belief in what we could build.

Fast forward to today… 🤯
And this weekend? WOW. 🔥

💜 8U — a fresh new team that is growing, developing, and already winning games! 🔥
🏆 9U — tournament CHAMPIONS
🏆 11U Teal — tournament CHAMPIONS
🥈 11U Purple — tournament RUNNER-UP in a tough B-level tournament
🏆 12U — tournament CHAMPIONS in their FIRST B-level tournament

Five teams. FOUR incredible finishes. And one BIG message:

💎 THIS IS TRUE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. 💎

It’s about watching girls grow from season to season.
It’s about building confidence.
It’s about learning how to compete.
It’s about developing skills, toughness, discipline, and the belief that they belong on the field.

It’s about taking players where they are and helping them become better versions of themselves.

And now we’re seeing that development happen throughout the entire organization.

From one 9U team…
to an 8U team growing and winning…
to a 9u team winning
to a NEW 10U team loading…
to TWO 11U teams winning
to a 12U team winning

That’s not luck.

That’s development. That’s coaching. That’s consistency. That’s CULTURE.

We aren’t just building teams.

We’re developing players.
We’re building confidence.
We’re creating competitors.
And we’re building something that lasts.

Whoa. What a day! How we got the lucky draw of 4 pool play games, I’m not sure. 🤪

The number 1 seed went 3-0, while these girls went 3-1 with our only loss being to the number 1 seed. (I said we should have gotten bonus points for being the one who had to play 4, while everyone else got 3 but who am I ?!😏)

We had a great day all around.
First game- 💎WIN vs. Havoc
Second game- 💎 WIN vs Canes Midwest Mote/Hash
Third game- 💎 Loss vs. Dynasty
Fourth game- 💎WIN vs. IN Gators Bratton/Wade

This post could be 14 pages long with the all the good things we did today, but I’m going to highlight #88 Paisley Rackley completely locking it down in game #4 with her pitching. SEVEN innings pitched, TWELVE K’s and only 1 earned run and 2 walks, after playing 3 previous games. Complete BEAST mode. 💪💎

Going into Sunday as #2 seed and we are ready to DIAMON-ATE!💎💜💎

🥎 B FALL STATE RECAP 🥎

7th-ish place. Not exactly where we wanted to finish but that’s ok! 💜🩵
We went 3-2 on the weekend, had some great hits, made some great plays, and yes… had our fair share of errors too. But isn’t that how we learn?

We can want perfection all the time. The reality is, we aren’t always going to get it and that’s okay.

Mistakes are lessons.
Lessons create growth.
Growth makes us better.

⭐️⭐️There were plenty of moments to be proud of. Shoutout to #3 Josie Combs on her inside of the park HOMERUN!

There are plenty of things to build on, and plenty of areas for us to get back to work on and that’s exactly what we’ll do. 💜

⭐️⭐️Most importantly, these girls made memories with their friends, played the game they all love, competed against some great teams, and got to experience another weekend together doing what they love most. 💎

We’ll take the lessons, celebrate the good, own the mistakes, and get back to work.

The goal isn’t perfection.
The goal is progress.

Keep growing, Diamonds. 💜🩵💎

Happy Birthday to our number 36, Madalynn Moss! She’s a feisty one behind the plate, a true utility, and she can bust a move better than the next guy! She’s always ready to have fun and work hard at the same time! We hope you have the best day ever, Monkey!
