Everyone always asks "is that a bearing wall, can I get rid of that?" If your house is trusses, or if it's a rafter system the answer is always yes!!!! But is it worth it, well only you can answer that question. This is the most load bearing wall I've ever seen, 5 very heavy point loads. 36"X36"X24" footings at both ends and 10' 4x4 steel posts holding up a 24' 6x12 steel beam. Easy day.
Looking to hire well rounder journeyman level worker that wants their license in the next few years. Must be able to frame, sheetrock and finish work. Hr$ depending on experience, tools, truck.
