Car was in the garage apart, no panels, needing a gear change etc at 12:30 today. We decided to head to Ventura to watch our nephew in the Demo Derby. JD said well since we’re going to Ventura anyway, I should take the car and cruise around the back. We thought he was joking! Mind you I am at work, I get a text “can you leave early” then the next text saying “NOW”. I Get home we thrash get the car together, loaded and hit the road. We were pulling in and they were calling them up for hot laps/qualifying. He has NOT been on this track in awhile, qualified 3rd, won the heat and finished 7th in the main.

We would like to give a brief update on JDs racing the past few weeks. Few weeks ago he went to Kern and won (track was probably the best it’s been all season) then last weekend he went to Santa Maria and finished 3rd (track was rough). With that being said we need to thank everyone that helps out
