Give it back to the kids

I am almost done with the restaurant and can now think about the decor. I have several ideas in mind but I need some help from all of you.

1st and foremost, we are a bbq restaurant so I am looking for western themed, bbq cooking, antiques.........whether it be signs, posters, old tools, whiskey barrels etc.. if you have anything that fits that themed and would like to contribute, please reach out.

2nd - with all of our tv's and the new edition of the 86" screen, NFL football (Bills preferred lol), Syracuse football and basketball memorabilia, pictures, signed balls etc would decorate the area with dart boards and pool table

3rd - and maybe most important to me, I have an upstairs loft with a big wall to pay tribute to all the kids I have coached over the years. Game day shots, pics, jerseys, team pictures etc. This will be a huge project so if any of my former players have some stuff from their playing days and want a spot on the wall, please send me some pictures or bring something in asap

Indoor flag is wrapping up. Last team standing is the 10U team. Want to take a minute to appreciate how much the kids have improved from the beginning of winter. Many first time playing for me so had a learning curve but the way every one of them finished their seasons playing as a team, and proving they were far better than their record reflects. The goal is always educate them and put them on a path to compete at the highest level in high school. Too many people put the emphasis on winning and don’t spend enough time teaching. Your wins mean absolutely nothing to the high school coaches. They still have to fit the system and perform on and off the field. Knowledge is everything. Composure under pressure, staying calm and focused when faced with adversity. Being a good teammate and being coachable without excuses for failures. Thats what they need to be successful in high school. So proud of my young men for understanding the big picture and working hard their tails off to improve. Can’t wait to watch them excel in the fall.
