Bville Select Basketball

Tomorrow our boys will be bringing donations to help support those families in baldwinsville that lost everything due to a massive fire. After our game the boys and I will be delivering everything received up to occ where some of the families will be. What a grind it was today for the boys. Entered the 8th grade WHYS tournament playing with 1 8th grader 1 6th grader and 6 7th graders and we still made it to the championship. Unfortunately we ran into the best program around, Camillus Jr wildcats coached by one of my favorite people John Woody. That team is legit. But I am so proud of my guys no matter that we lost by 20, they never gave up and battled. Will be entering some more tourneys. Next sat we get another crack at the bville sting 8th grade. First one was a success against a great team now will take on the other team.

Boys battled hard today playing the wildcats. We just can't get the money off our back and beat them. Very good athletic team. Got down early boys fought hard took the lead, but in the end we lost by 8. The boys will be determined tomorrow Sunday as we play in the WHYS 8th grade level tourney. First game noon in minoa then back over to tipp Hill center to finish the rest of the bracket. It will be a great test for our 7th grade boys, but I know they'll give it everything they got.

Happy New Year to all our players, families and followers. The boys start out the new year Sat playing a double header at 2 and 3. We will be entering few tourneys in the near future

Our team played in the 7/8 holiday hoops classic at esm adding a couple 8th graders who didn't have jerseys so we represented the bees. Going 4-0 the players did not skip a beat adding acouple players and beat some real tough teams bringing home the championship.

We started out the winter session with a win vs 8th grade chittenango. Boys really played well together from start to finish. Getting better every game and having fun.

Congrats to all our 7th grade bville select boys for making the modified teams and playing great in there first games. Minus our 6th grader cam and one that didn't tryout. Great showing,

Boys played an awesome game vs the 8th grade bville sting red team. Jumped out on them early got a big lead then let them back in the game. At the end we still came out on top. 4-2 on the year with wins playing 8th grade teams. Coach Corey and I see growth in them every week. We take on fm green sat at 1pm for the second time, losing by 3 a few weeks ago to them, then onto the winter session.

Boys will play their modified teammates tomorrow as they will play up against the bville sting 8th grade team. Should be an awesome game. 9am at legacy gym in East Syracuse
