Southeast Sixes Lacrosse

Ok yall! Does anyone want to try and get a pick up game going in late august?!?! Need a head count.

We are at close to 40 followers and I’m pretty sure I may have secured a field but it’s still TBD. How many people have equipment already?!? We might be able to do these pick up games around august!

Quick set of rules/regs for when we get things going. If you think I missed something please comment and let me know!

Team formats will be 6v6
1 goalie and 5 field players
After a goal, the goalie resets the play with a clear(like basketball)
faceoffs will be done at the start of the game and at the start of the second half
Teams can be hand picked or done via a generator on an app
No long poles
We will run 2 20 min halves
Sub on the fly (hockey/box style)
Helmet, gloves required, shoulder pads and elbows recommended!!!

I cannot stress this enough…
NO DO**HE BAGS!!!! There will be absolutely no full blown body checks! This is going to be full contact but please use your judgement. Getting chippy is all in the fun but please do not intentionally try to hurt someone.

We’re doing to need 2 portable creases. Champion makes them and they’re around $100 each. If anyone has them please let me know. If
Not we can “crowd source” it!

How does everyone feel about trying to do Sunday meet ups? We can make it a traditional style pick up game?

Welcome to southeast sixes! This page was created to hopefully get a men’s sixes league started in southeast Baltimore county. I will update everyone as soon as possible. I’m looking for field spaces at the moment. I’m hopeful that by early fall/late summer we will be ready to play!
