The kettlebell swing is one of the most common and basic of kettlebell lifts that can be used to create full body strength, power, and conditioning. Setting up for a properly executed swing can be taught in three easy steps.โฃ

Making sure to draw you attention to the hinge (1), the hike (2), and the translation of power from horizontal to vertical by use of leg drive and power through the hips (3).

The Kip swings are a sequence of hollow and arch positions. โฃ

A key point is to make sure you're focused on equal weight distribution underneath the bar. This means as you move into your hollow position, your chest needs to be behind the bar while your legs are front of the bar, making sure your weight is nice and balanced. This allows you to move back and forth through these two positions positions.โฃ

Another point of performance is to ensure your hands are gripping right outside your shoulders. โฃ
