Happy Global Running Day!!
For me, running serves three primary purposes:
1. A mental & physical outlet - a period of solitude, and self -care in a hectic day. I talk to G-d, myself, jam out, cry, and solve a myriad of problems while running 😜
2. As a mom of 5, it’s a great low-cost way for me to physically stay in shape and feel good in my clothes 😍. It requires minimal equipment and I can do it almost anywhere I am! 😎
3. A way to complete the recommended amount of daily steps! I logged 4 miles of running this morning and over 20K steps throughout the day 🤩

Most mornings my runs are my ME time, but today our wanted to tag along, and I was happy to have them join me on a 5K stroller run & bike ride ❤️ I’ll share my top 3 reasons why
1. They get to GO OUTSIDE! 🌳 Children (or any people really) shouldn’t be indoors all day! WE aim to spend a considerable amount of time outdoors daily ☀️
2. I really do like their company, we get to practice street safety, and explore our neighborhood together 🏠
3. The resistance of pushing a double stroller up these hills is making me a stronger runner 💪🏾
Do enjoy company or prefer solo workouts?
🌟 When I try a new form of exercise, I like to really immerse myself in it. Going as frequently as I can so I learn it easily and maximize the benefit.
💵This is one of the many reasons I LOVE ! I was able to snag a 10 class pass to ; allowing me to go about 3 times a week for the month of May.
💪🏾 I’ve already completed 5 classes and I’m feeling stronger in my core already! Continuing to eat nourishing foods help me to notice results even sooner!

❤️I love my period!
🔺For the longest time my monthly flow was a minor inconvenience (at best) or a painful nuisance (at worst).
🔺As I’ve grown, I’ve come to understand the color, consistency, and flow my cycle as a good indicator of my physical and emotional health!
🔺Charting my cycle has helped me to prepare for the normal hormonal changes that come with a monthly flow!
🔺Eating a diet high in fresh fruits and veggies in addition to using natural, non toxic products has greatly reduced and eliminated much of the physical symptoms!
🔺As a mom of 5, an added benefit of a monthly flow is that it’s an indicator that I’m NOT pregnant!
🔺Do you find your cycle a benefit or burden? If you answer burden - NOT due to a diagnosed medical condition - look into womb health to find benefit to your flow.

Something to get you over the hump! Happy Wednesday!
It’s THANKFUL THURSDAY and I’m CELEBRATING🎉🎉
First things first—Today marks 105 consecutive days of at least 30 mins of movement outdoors! I started October 1, and have been moving daily ever since! Thanks to so many accountability partners and challenges to keep me going Travel, rain, snow… didn’t matter - 30 minutes outside! I don’t know that I’m going to continue this streak indefinitely, I had a goal to get to 100 days and I did it 🥳
More importantly— I shared in my IG stories how I was feeling rundown with an lingering intense headache, NOTHING was making me feel better, being outside was the best I would feel all day, but even that wasn’t normal. So I packed up our and traveled from MD to GA the day after the snowstorm. After a week here I’m starting to feel normal. I’m feeling rested- my migraine is gone; I schedule time to take naps; my body battery isn’t being depleted halfway through the day - users you know 😉. I have a few more days to power my battery and recharge. I’m taking everything I can get!
Last but not least, I’m feeling snazzy in my gifted outfit! The mettle leggings, lux long sleeve tee with watch window, and puffy vest because we all know that when you LOOK good, you FEEL good 👍🏾😎
This is definitely one of those “appreciate the rainbow 🌈 because I endured the rain 🌧” posts, and I am truly grateful to be on this side 🥰
2021 year end review! New under the sun at 41 ☀️ This has truly been a year of self discovery and returning to what I know is true. Belief in, and submission to The Almighty, The Supreme, The ONE to continue to bless, guide, and provide for me, from the endless bounty. I move into 2022 grateful 😊 and at peace ☮️
