Hereโ€™s to next chapters. I started my day teaching one last BootCamp before hurrying off to a field trip with my 8yo (my next chapter). I finished my day with a happy hour with my new SWEAT DC fam celebrating their 2nd location, SWEATBMORE in the fitness home that I built over 17 years (their next chapter). I am excited for them and excited for me and excited for my CCF family to discover their next chapter in SWEATBMORE. Change is hard but thatโ€™s how we grow. This was my first baby and I am so proud of it and Iโ€™m so excited to see itsโ€™ next chapter.

If you are trying to eat better, a great lifestyle of eating is displayed here. All of the macronutrients are prioritized and not cut out, unlike other diets such as the Carnivore Diet or Keto and Atkins. Studies have shown to increase life expectancy, lower chances of heart disease and dementia.


80 percent of your brain is water. When you get dehydrated it can affect you cognitively. Did you know your brain needs water to recycle toxins? Stay hydrated!


DID YOU KNOW? If you have lower back pain, one cause could be foot pronation. Yes that's right. Your ankle instability could be the reason for your back pain. NEVER assume the location of the pain is the root cause. In most cases it is the joints above or below. Think of your body like a chain link, if one breaks, the rest becomes disorderly and you lose integrity.


Do you have more than one of these symptoms? Evaluate your posture and it may be the cause. One of the most important things you can do is EXTEND your spine throughout the day. We all catch ourselves in this slumped over posture. Trying different thoracic extension exercises, routinely can help you in the long run.

The Runner's workshop ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒconcludes with this awesome exercise that has been proven to enhance knee durability and power output from the posterior chain. My two participants did a great job performing the exercise. This is the infamous Nordic curl, give it a try and thank me later.
