Want to play a game?

I went to the redemption center this afternoon and brought back all of the returnables the kids collected through the day. The game is to guess how many bottles and cans I dropped off. This does not account for all of the bottles and cans emptied through the day (I saw some ended up in trash or recycling) and it probably isn't a true reflection of how many Balls Deep drained on their own, but how many do you think it was?

Hey team, according to our treasurer, tournament check-in director, and chief line painter all of the bills are paid for this year.

We are still waiting to receive a check (or maybe two). If you or your business wants to make a donation let me know soon before we connect with Make A Wish Maine to give them our check for this year.

Let's rip this down the line and bring in some more money for the kids of Maine.

A couple of days ago I posted that it takes a family to win the title and then I saw these pics from our second tournament when Mackie Tal and Cam were 8-6-4 years old at the tournament and they were helping then and now today they are key pieces of what we do all day. Thanks girls for making this event such a huge success and a huge part of your lives

Update - all the bats and balls have been claimed. I think they went to four different schools for kids to use in PE classes which is awesome.

I have about 3 dozen bats and a couple dozen balls that are still "playable" but too beaten up for tournament play. Anyone want/need some?

We had a minimum goal in 2026 of reaching a total of $11,100 to get us to that Quarter of a million dollar mark for our total amount raised. Well we were close and Renewal by Andersen of Greater Maine made sure we crossed that threshold with an amazing donation. And we're still working on our final figures but I know we cleared the quarter million dollar milestone

BANGOR -- 'Wayne's Wiffle for a Wish' returned to Bangor this past Saturday for their 18th annual charity wiffle ball tournament.
