***Friday Night Lights Recap***
Have to make a huge shout out to Mike & Amy for getting us to Tomah Sparta Speedway. After the issues with the hauler the weekend before (more to come with that).
The night started with a HORRIBLE handling car. Was pushing soooo hard in the corners & just would not turn for The Outlaw. Practice was, well, 1 green flag lap each for us.
First practice he went out and ran one green flag lap with a 21.184! Pulled it into the pits. Did some adjustments trying to get it to turn & loosen up.
2nd practice wasn't much different. One green flag lap and straight to the pit stall. Got a little faster that time around with a 19.835 but still not where we should be. Adjusted air pressure with temp change and loosen it up more.
Heat race was a full invert. That left Ethan sitting on the pole spot. Had a restart right away when 3 cars got together in turn 1 at the green. On the restart 2nd place spun & had door shot him hard. He held on to it and maintained his position. Ended up with a 18.896 lap time and a solid 3rd place finish.
Feature time coming up. Said it was still really pushing in the corners, multiple complaints "it's junk" we could hear the disappointment in his voice and on his face. He wasn't about to give up. We tore apart the front end and found that the spindle bolt on the right front was bent. Another grade 8 bolt added to the other bent / broke grade 8's. Was able to get another bolt from the 21 car Zadale Demeny.
Feature was run exactly the same as the heat race. The only change was they allowed the winner of the beginner Bando feature join. Ethan ran hard even with a ill handling car & underpowered. He was able to bring home a respectable 4th place finish with a 17.802. He was about 5 laps shy of the 3rd place. We could see him catching up to 3rd every lap and then after looking at the lap times he definitely was catching him.
He also had a huge cheering section from his sponsor/supporter Wisconsin State Moose Association. Was a great night to have them out with a 3rd & 4th place finish.
Our time Fastest Difference
Practice 1 - 21.184 18.200 -2.984
Practice 2- 19.835 17.512 -2.323
Qualifying 18.788 17.351 -1.437
Heat race- 18.896 17.156 -1.740
Feature - 17.802 17.125 -0.677
Over all we gained+3.382 from the time we unloaded to loading up.

Matt Winker & Thomas Winker we'd truly be lost without you guys! We're still very grateful for Thomas getting out of his comfort zone and stepping into our trailer a few years ago! We love you guys!
Raymond P Frieri thank you for always recommending people or things, not to mention your support of following Ethan and his racing! We greatly appreciate you!
Rob's Towing & Repair LLC Thank You for taking time out of your Saturday for coming up and hauling our hauler back to Mauston area! You're professional and friendliness in a stressful situation was extremely appreciated! Highly recommend you to everyone!
Also thank you to the other race teams who tried to help us get our bus started in the pits at Golden Sands Speedway after the races. Including a fan who brought her personal truck into the pits and jump started it! We greatly appreciate all of you!

Golden Sands Speedway recap.
Wow. What an up and down night. Our driver struggled with the car during practice, and qualifying. Him and Dad kept trying to figure out what they were missing as to why he was having issues. They messed with numerous adjustments. Thought we had gotten it. However it wasn't enough as he qualifyed 15th out of 22 cars. With Golden Sands doing double features, there was no heats. The top 12 cars went straight into the A main feature. Which meant Ethan had to do the last chance race. Unfortunately he finished 6th. And only the top 4 went into the A main feature. If there hadn't been so many cautions and them cutting the last chance race short, Ethan might have had a chance. But it is what it is. Ethan did get put into the B main feature. That kid was on fire! Dad and him figured out the right adjustments as he won it!!! His first Golden Sands Speedway win!! 🏁🏁
We truly can't thank our friends, family, and sponsors enough for your continued support! We greatly appreciate everything!

Unfortunately we won't be attending Dells Raceway Park or Slinger Super Speedway this weekend. After a good night at Golden Sands Speedway (more to come on that). ❤️🏁 Our hauler is sitting stranded in Rome WI. We don't know what happened besides it sprayed water and oil everywhere. 💔😭💔😭 We were able to get the trailer home all in a huge thanks to the Winker family. ♥️
If anyone knows someone who can haul a bus back to Mauston area, please let us know. Thats not going to kill us in price as our bank is small.
*Update*
Thank you everyone for the ideas and the hauler has made it back to our area! Now the process starts again.
