We would like to introduce our 2nd service award member to to be inducted into the the Kentucky Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame for 2026, the late Coach Ovie Canady of Bell Co Wrestling.

In a short time coach built Bell Co into a winning program in both boys and girls wrestling. This year he got his 200th dual win and if not for his passing, we can only imagine the number his teams would have achieved.

Ovie was beloved by his wrestlers, many wrestlers from other teams, and Coaches from all over Kentucky.

Ovie poured his heart not just into wrestling, but into his kids and would do everything to help them achieve their goals.

Thank you coach for all you gave to the sport of wrestling. You a truly missed, but will forever be remembered as a true Hall of Fame coach and person.

Plumb-Tec, LLC is 5 years in business now, and we truly wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of our wonderful community. Over the years, you’ve trusted us to serve your homes, businesses, and families, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you.

Because of your support, we are blessed to be able to give back to the community that has helped make our small business what it is today. We know that back to school season can be both exciting and stressful for families. Between school supplies, backpacks, and all of the little things that add up, it can become overwhelming.

This year, we’re giving away backpacks filled with school supplies and hygiene items to help students start the school year prepared and confident. It’s our small way of saying “thank you” and investing in the children of our community.

Our prayers go out to Bell County wrestling and Coach Ovie Canady’s family. Coach Canady started the Bell County program and had an enormous amount of success, he will be greatly missed.

After a 12plus hour day… We didn’t have the outcome we wated BUT we are comming home with.. (1) 5th and (2) 6th place region finishes Amber Honeycutt (6th 138)
Kyra Newkirk (6th 145)
and Kadence Newkirk (5th 165)! 💙💛!
