Pool play is in the books!
The boys battled through two very different games today—falling just short in a hard-fought 10-9 battle before bouncing back with an impressive 11-1 victory. The resilience, energy, and fight this team showed all day was something to be proud of.
Here’s a look at how each player contributed to a strong day of baseball:
💪 Carter Bailey - Threw a complete-game win (4 IP, 5 H, 1 ER) while also going 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI, and a run scored. A huge all-around performance!
🎯Graham Kirtland - Finished 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored, a double, and 3 total bases while anchoring the defense at shortstop. Great weekend setting the tone at the top of the lineup!
⚡️Braxton Magennis - Went 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored, an RBI, and 2 stolen bases, continuing to pressure defenses every chance he got. Great day at first base, too!
💣 Kip McManaway - Finished 1-for-2 with an RBI, added a sacrifice fly, and did a great job behind the plate helping guide the pitching staff. Tough, team-first baseball!
🌪️ Sawyer Imburgia - Went 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs, a run scored, and a stolen base while making plays at third base. Another strong all-around effort!
⭐️ Brody Herndon - Steady contributor all day, reaching base, scoring a run, and driving in another while playing solid defense in the infield. His hustle, team-first mentality, and willingness to do the little things helped keep Top Tier rolling.
🔥 Cole Geiger - Went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored while making several great plays in center field. Another complete game!
⚾️ Noah Martin - Finished 1-for-2 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base. Noah was clutch and continued to produce quality at-bats all game long!
🚀 Finn Wesseler - Made the most of his opportunities! He walked, scored a run, stole two bases, and kept the pressure on the defense every time he reached base. Great energy and effort!
🏃Crosby Atkerson - Went 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs, including a clutch two-run single that helped put the game away. Another great day competing and producing.
