There are good days. There are bad days. And then there are days like today.

Blistering cold. Little to no life. Just an absolute grind from start to finish.

We scraped together three keeper fish total across all anglers. One guy, however, left smiling — Warren took big fish honors and swept the Calcutta.

I’d love to tell you to get off the couch and get out here… but today, the couch and something warm to drink were 100% the right call.

Jake B. grabbed the first fish of the day to win the Fast Eddie Custom. With no fourth keeper, the payout had to be raffled off.

The clock’s ticking—Fluke season wraps up this Thursday, and we’re sending it off in style aboard the Miss Beach Haven!

We’ll depart at 8AM for a 6-hour run to the deeper reefs, targeting JUMBO fluke to close out the season.

Hello NJ Fishing Club Anglers,
First and foremost, thank you for your patience as we monitored the forecast this week in the wake of Hurricane Erin. We know many of you were looking forward to this weekend’s event, and we share in the disappointment of this update.
While Saturday may ultimately prove to be fishable, the lingering ground swell combined with the possibility of a stiff breeze could make for uncomfortable—and potentially unsafe—conditions. Out of an abundance of caution, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event. Unfortunately, there is no scheduled foul weather date.
We truly regret having to make this call, but the safety and enjoyment of our anglers will always come first.
That said, we don’t want the season to end on a sour note. Stay tuned to your inbox, as we’re working on putting together a late-season event that will bring anglers from across the state together before fluke season closes.
All purchases for both the tournament and the Mary M Superpool have been refunded in full. Please allow up to 7–10 business days for the funds to process back to your payment method.

Fluke Superpool Results:
We broke the inlet early this morning and made it out to the fluke grounds just in time for perfect conditions and calm seas. We picked away at some fish over a few drifts—then the east wind had other plans. By mid-morning, the drift was ripping, and we had to drop an anchor to stay in the zone.

The crew battled through tough conditions and stayed grinding at the rail all day. In the end, it was Tony O who came out on top, narrowly edging the pool and walking away with $3,335 in winnings!
