The Vermont Coyotes are proud to partner with One Dream Elite Skills Training to bring former NBA First Round Draft Pick Donte Greene to Hartford High School for an unforgettable day of basketball development.

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we are actively looking for a few amazing host families to welcome our players beginning around September 15th.

This is one of the most important needs we have right now. Our athletes are traveling to Vermont from across the country and beyond to compete, give back to our communities, and represent the Vermont Coyotes with pride. We have an outstanding group of young men coming in this season, and we want to make sure they have a safe, supportive place to call home while they’re here.

If you or someone you know may be interested in becoming a host family, we’d love to hear from you. Host families play a huge role in making this program possible, and the relationships built throughout the season often last a lifetime.

🏀 Another incredible day in the books.

Today we wrapped up a small clinic in Maine, where we had the opportunity to work with a great group of athletes who came ready to learn and compete. Thank you to everyone who came out and trusted us with your development.

Now our focus shifts to Plattsburgh, New York on August 15, where we’ll welcome 100+ student-athletes for what will be one of the biggest One Dream Elite Skills Training events we’ve ever hosted.

But as excited as we are for Plattsburgh, our attention is also turning toward something truly special…

September 27.

Our final One Dream Elite Skills Training Clinic of the year will be unlike anything we’ve done before. We’ll be joined by 2008 NBA First Round Draft Pick ( #28 Overall) Donte Greene, and athletes will also have the opportunity to meet the entire Vermont Coyotes Professional Basketball Team before the season begins.

For many young athletes, opportunities like this simply don’t come around very often. The chance to learn from someone who reached the NBA, ask questions, receive instruction, take photos, collect autographs, and experience what a professional basketball environment feels like can leave a lasting impact.

Host families play a huge role in helping our athletes feel at home while they represent Vermont. It’s a unique opportunity to build lasting relationships, support a professional athlete’s journey, and make a direct impact on our organization.

🏀 Training Camp begins September 21st, so we’re hoping to have our remaining host families in place before the team arrives.
