What's the situation at Kingsbury High School? Here'a post from FOX 13:

I would like to bring to your attention a situation that happened last night when Bartlett High School played Kingsbury..I did a post on the regular Fox 13 news..but you may not get it..

here is my concern, and if possible, could someone please investigate this situation... I take photos out of the goodness of my heart at the Bartlett High Basketball and Football games... Last night I got to the gym and was informed that there would be no Junior Varsity games...Girls or Boys, and that the Principal at Kingsbury cancelled both the JV Girls and JV Boys Basketball teams and all of their games...the reasoning I was informed was because they had 2 home games where the opponents didn't come..and Kingsbury had to pay the Referees...

Also, I was informed that the Varsity Teams almost couldn't come to the game last night because of Transportation Issues, because they couldn't afford to pay for a bus.... I believe that's probably why those 2 Home JV Games didn't have an opponent either... Inner city schools need transportation to their games...When MCS merged with SCS...it was supposed to be about education and the students..not "3 figure pay checks" for some of their Board Members.. when Kingsbury was MCS there was no problem with having a bus to transport the team members...
Someone needs to focus on this matter because these kids are dedicated to their sports events..and sports related activities are vital to furthering the education of an athlete..specifically, through scholarships to Universities, Colleges, or Jr Colleges..

I take this issue very personally..and I hope that your team of reporters can somehow expose this problem and support my issues for the benefit of the kids!
