I was getting certified as an NLP practitioner. We broke for lunch and I wandered into the metaphysical store in town.

Nobody else was in the store.

I walked past a bookshelf and an astrology book fell off the shelf and hit me in the head.

I already knew I had divine guidance. But this was a loud message even by my standards.

I had never had an astrology reading before. But something in me knew this book held a key. So I tracked down my birth time and found an astrologer in Portland whose energy I just liked.

That reading changed my life.

Not because he told me something I didn't know. Because he showed me where to look for what I had always known.

I spent years after that getting certified in everything. Reiki master teacher. Hypnotherapist. Neo shamanic breathwork facilitator. Law of attraction coach. NLP practitioner. I studied under mentors. I took the courses. I kept searching.

And the whole time my chart was sitting there holding every answer I was looking for outside myself.

Every certification pointed me back to the same place.

Inside my own design.

I was nine years old.

I was playing outside alone on our property. Big lake. A lot of land.
Nobody around but me and the neighbor's dog.

A man pulled up in a postman's car dressed as a postman.
He came up close and asked if he could have lunch by the lake.
And then he said why don't you show me the way.

I saw something in him that I couldn't name at nine years old. I just knew.
My whole body knew before my brain had a single word for it.

I said I don't care what you do. And I ran.

I don't know how I got away from him.
What I do know is that when they found him he was a serial killer.
He had hurt and killed a lot of children.

I never told that story the way it deserved to be told because I grew up in a family that told me I didn't know what I was talking about. That what I saw and felt wasn't real. That I was too much. That I was wrong.

I spent decades believing them.

I'm not the only woman who learned to silence the thing inside her that sees.
That gift didn't go away. It just went underground.

It's what I do now. I read what's underneath. The patterns nobody else is naming.
The truth living inside your birthday that your business has been waiting for you to find.

I have always known.
I just spent a long time in a world that didn't.

In 2017 the rug got pulled out from under my feet.

Not by a stranger. By someone I trusted completely. My spiritual mentor.
The woman I thought was going to help me build everything. And I had absolutely no idea how I was going to bounce back from that.

That was just the beginning.

What followed was the kind of dismantling that doesn't feel like growth while it's happening. It feels like losing. The marriage.
The team I had paid over $60,000 who I trusted with everything and who burned it to the ground on their way out.
The version of me that thought she had it all figured out.

Everything that fell apart was never mine to keep.

In 2018 two people showed up on my path exactly when I needed them. One brought me into breathwork.
Neo shamanic breathwork that became a lifeline when I didn't have many left.

The other was my Galactic astrologer.
She didn't just help me read my chart. She helped me see astrology from a completely different perspective than anything I had ever encountered.
I have never met anyone who did it the way she did it.

What she taught me wasn't just how to read a chart. It was how to read all the threads held inside a birthdate.
Western astrology. Vedic. Galactic. Shamanic. Human Design. Gene Keys. The harmonics running underneath all of it.
Every system pointing to the same truth from a different angle.

I was on top of the world.

Full price offer. Two week close. Ready to take on everything.

And my mentor looked at me and said you are in for it.

And I looked at him and said maybe for you.

That was 2017. That little boy was the only thing keeping me on the planet that year.
I had just sold my business. My marriage was ending. I moved into a friend's apartment with two suitcases and a bag of toys. And I genuinely believed I was going to bounce right back.

I couldn't hear what he was trying to tell me.

Not because I was naive. Because I hadn't lived enough of it yet to understand what was coming.

What was coming was eight years of tearing down everything I had built on the wrong foundation. The false persona. The ego. The version of me that was built for survival instead of truth.

It was beyond brutal.

And if I could go back and say one thing to that woman kissing her son's cheek in 2017 it would be this.

It's not going to be easy. But you're going to have everything you need to get through it.

This is day one of me sharing that journey publicly for the first time.

All of it. The real version.

When your business stalls out, it’s easy to assume you just haven’t found the right answer yet.

I did that for years.

I learned from brilliant people. I applied what worked for them. And I kept assuming that if I couldn’t make it work the same way, I was missing something.

What I was missing was discernment.

Knowing which advice was useful.
Knowing which rules I had inherited.
And knowing when I was trying to force something into my business that was never mine in the first place.

That changes the question.

Instead of immediately asking, “What should I do next?”

Start looking at what you’re already trying to make work, who taught you it had to work that way, and whether it actually fits the woman building the business.

That’s where your Code starts to matter.

We are all walking through initiations in life and business.

Some of them make sense while we’re in them.
Some of them only make sense years later.

And right now, we’re watching the world change. Business is changing.
The way we connect is changing. The way we work, lead, create, sell, and build our lives is changing too.

Because I want to know who is actually running the business.
