Today was something I'll never forget.

To the City of Batesville, the Mayor, the MS Wolfpack staff, family, friends, and everyone who took the time to recognize me with Eddie Strong Day, thank you. I don't have the words to fully express what this honor means to me. To be recognized by the city where I was raised and where so much of my journey began is truly humbling.

I've always believed that actions speak louder than words. I've never been in this for attention or recognition. I've simply tried to do my part to give back, build something positive, and represent Batesville with pride everywhere I go.

Today reminded me that people are watching, and for that I'm grateful.

Now I'm asking our community for something.

Let's keep this same energy going. Don't let today be the end of the support. Come out to the games. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Fill the stands. The Mississippi Wolfpack represents more than football, we represent opportunity, perseverance, and pride in our hometown.

Our players sacrifice. Our coaches sacrifice. Everyone involved gives their time because they believe in what we're building. They deserve to look up and see a community standing behind them.

If today showed anything, it's that Batesville knows how to honor its own. Now let's continue that support where it matters every game.

Thank you again for this incredible honor. I'll continue to work, continue to serve, and continue to do my best to make this city proud.
