The Bankery saved my life today

As I was driving up to The Forks today , I made the last minute decision to stop at The Bankery. I was on my way to see some of my family and I thought to myself, I should stop in and grab a few goodies.

So after parallel parking in one fell swoop , ordering from every case in the shop, and running down a customer who had forgotten her credit card because her hands were full of bags of tourtiere pies, I returned to my car to discover I had a nearly flat tire.

As you can see, had I not stopped at The Bankery, I would have driven on and likely had a car accident.

Moral of the story: always stop at The Bankery

*of note, I bought far more than this lovely raspberry cream horn. It just all got eaten before I could take photos.

*and I made it safely to everywhere I was going today
