First day of the new series starts tomorrow!

For years in yoga classes when I was instructed to "vinyasa" or flow I would quickly move through the sequence
--down dog - chatarunga - updog - down dog --
trying to fling my body through the motions without becoming aware of exactly what was happening.

Tomorrow we will break down these fundamental postures and put a heavy focus on movement with breath to find that beautiful flow.

Life happens in the details.
I have often found myself constantly looking forward to "whats next, whats the bigger picture, how does this align with my 5 year plan"? And while I enjoy having a plan, the current pandemic has forced a slow down. I don't know what I have to look forward to or when that will be.
But my practice on the mat has taught me to trust the process. Focus on my building blocks, or the details of foundation. How am I mindfully choosing to building myself?
Come dive deep into a strong foundations practice as we focus on the details and confidently find a full body experience in our Virabhadranana or Warrior.

Class starts at 9- see you then! Amid growing coronavirus tensions across the globe, a leading medical school in the US has urged all students to perform Yoga to fight against coronavirus.

In yesterday's practice we found ourselves focusing on improving posture and connecting to our center to find the root of our strength - everyone being there made it such a beautiful class

[04/24/20]   After graduating university with a Bachelors in Marketing, I embarked on the first step of my adventure by accepting my first professional job as a flight attendant. After traveling the world my hunger for life grew and it led to me Asia, where I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to work with and learn from Buddhist monks at a temple in Thailand. They shared insights into Buddhist way of life by emphasizing meditation and philosophy. I continued to travel and grow until my travels and personal life finally found the perfect union and brought me to the foothills of the Himalayas, on the banks of the Ganga, the birthplace of yoga : Rishikesh, India. Here I lived in an ashram for a month undergoing intensive training for my 200 hour certification with additional training in naturopathy and marma point therapy.

After graduating from the ashram I was guided towards a swami in Sri Lanka specializing in marma point therapy where I was accepted as a student for a week long intensive.
Since returning to America I have been blessed with the opportunity to share this beautiful practice.
