Sometimes, the most important commitments we make are the ones nobody else hears.

I was in the shower, doing what I often do in there… thinking, reflecting, and working things out in my head.

And I made a decision.

I'm going all in on a couple of projects I'm working on for my business, as well as some things I'm committed to for my health and my life.

Not halfway.
Not only when I feel motivated.
Not only when everything feels easy or perfectly planned.

I'm committed.

When I got out of the shower, I wrote those three words in the condensation on my mirror.

I AM COMMITTED.

Then I took a picture and made it my phone background so I'd have a daily reminder of the promise I made to myself.

Because here's what I'm learning…

It's easy to make a commitment in a moment when you're feeling inspired. The real work is honoring that commitment when the excitement wears off, progress feels slow, or perfectionism starts whispering that you should wait until you have everything figured out.

I'm not promising myself that I'll do everything perfectly.

I'm promising myself that I'll keep showing up, make adjustments when I need to, and stop using the need to get everything right as a reason to hold myself back.

And that applies to pole, too.

You don't have to be the strongest, most flexible, most confident dancer in the room to commit to your growth.

You just have to be willing to begin, learn, and keep going.

So here's my question for you: What would change if you stopped waiting to feel ready and made a commitment to yourself instead?

Maybe it's trying that first pole class. Maybe it's pursuing a dream you've been putting off. Maybe it's finally making yourself a priority.

You don't have to have every step figured out today.

But you can decide to show up for yourself.

What are you committing to? ❤️

What if the thing holding you back isn't a lack of ability… but the pressure to get it right?

Perfectionism doesn't always look like wanting everything to be perfect.

Sometimes, it looks like this:

✨ 1. You keep waiting until you're “ready.”
You tell yourself you'll try when you're stronger, more flexible, or more confident.

✨ 2. You compare your beginning to someone else's progress.
You forget they've had their own learning curve, too.

✨ 3. You avoid spaces where you might look like a beginner.
You want to learn, but you don't want anyone to see you learning.

✨ 4. One awkward attempt makes you want to quit.
Instead of seeing something to practice, you see proof that you aren't good at it.

✨ 5. You need certainty before you take the first step.
You want to know you'll succeed before you're willing to try.

Sound familiar? You're not broken, and you don't have to shame yourself for it.

Perfectionism often tries to protect us from embarrassment, disappointment, or judgment. But when we let it make all our decisions, it can keep us from experiencing the very growth we want.

You don't have to eliminate every bit of fear before moving forward. Start by noticing when perfectionism is choosing for you.

Which of these five are you working on right now? Drop the number in the comments. 👇

You might be closer than you think.

Sometimes progress doesn't look like a perfect spin or finally nailing the move.

Sometimes it looks like…

Trying something that used to scare you.

Laughing instead of criticizing yourself when you mess up.

Showing up even when you're not feeling confident.

Or realizing that one imperfect attempt doesn't mean you should quit.

Maybe you haven't mastered the move yet.

Maybe you still get nervous.

Maybe you're still figuring it out.

But you're not the same person who was too afraid to begin.

And that's progress worth celebrating.

Because when you stop requiring yourself to be perfect before you try, you give yourself room to discover what you're capable of.

So take a second to look back.

What's something you can do now that the earlier version of you couldn't imagine doing?

Celebrate that. You earned it.

10/10/2026

🚨 YOUR REMINDER THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO NAIL IT TO CELEBRATE IT. 🚨

Welcome back to Celebrate the Blooper! 😂

You know the moments…

The move that went completely sideways.

The face you made while trying to save it.

The attempt that looked NOTHING like it did in your head.

We've all had them.

And guess what?

Those moments count, too.

Because you showed up.

You tried something new.

You survived being a beginner for another day.

And you gave yourself a chance to learn instead of letting fear make the decision for you.

That's worth celebrating.

And this isn't just about pole.

Every time you let yourself try something imperfectly, you're practicing trusting yourself in the rest of your life, too.

So here's your challenge:

💃 Share a pole blooper, an awkward attempt, or a move you're still figuring out.

Tag me so I can cheer you on!

Let's celebrate the trying—not just the nailing it.

Sometimes “I want to try pole” isn't really about pole.

Maybe it's:

“I want to do something for myself again.”

“I want to feel confident in my body.”

“I want to stop talking myself out of things.”

“I want to trust myself again.”

“I want to prove to myself that I can do hard things.”

And sometimes the thing keeping you from trying isn't your strength or flexibility.

It's the story in your head.

“I'm not good enough.”

“I'll embarrass myself.”

“What if I fail?”

That's the conversation underneath the conversation.

And that's where coaching can help.

Not by telling you to “just be confident.”

But by helping you get curious about what's actually keeping you stuck—and decide what you want to do next.

Because sometimes the thing you're avoiding on the pole...

is the same thing you're avoiding in life.

If you've been feeling that, DM me POLE.

We can start with a conversation. No pressure. 💛

Want to know what perfectionism sounds like?

“Let me fix that.”

“Let me do it one more time.”

“That wasn't good enough.”

“People are going to notice.”

So today, I want you to try something different.

Do something imperfectly on purpose.

Not something dangerous.
Not something that matters deeply.

Something small.

Post the imperfect photo.

Try the new thing before you feel ready.

Leave the tiny mistake alone instead of fixing it.

And then notice what happens.

You might feel uncomfortable.

That's okay.

You don't have to fix the discomfort.

Just let yourself experience:

“I can be imperfect and still be okay.”

That's the practice.

Because perfectionism doesn't get weaker because we think about it.

It gets weaker when we prove to ourselves that imperfect isn't the same thing as unsafe.

So here's your challenge:

Do one small thing imperfectly today—and don't fix it.

Then tell me what happened.

The fall isn't the whole story.

On the pole, you might lose your grip.

Miss the move.

Lose your balance.

And then what?

You reset.

You breathe.

You try again.

Life works that way too.

You have a bad day.

Something doesn't work out.

You make a mistake.

You get rejected.

You fall short of what you expected.

And your brain might immediately say:

“See? I failed.”

But one moment doesn't get to decide the whole story.

The fall is part of it.

Getting back up is part of it, too.

So the next time something doesn't go the way you hoped, don't ask:

“What's wrong with me?”

Try:

“What's my next step?”

You don't have to fix everything today.

Just take the next step.

10/04/2026

How many of these have you done? 😂

Welcome to BEGINNER POLE BINGO.

☐ Death grip on the pole
☐ Forgot which leg goes where
☐ Forgot to breathe
☐ Made a face you didn't know you could make
☐ Slid unexpectedly
☐ Lost your balance
☐ Completely forgot the combination
☐ Thought, “Wait…what am I doing?”
☐ Nailed it once…then couldn't do it again

And if you've checked several boxes?

Congratulations. You're learning pole. 😂

We tend to think being “good” means everything looks controlled and effortless.

But being a beginner is supposed to be a little chaotic.

That's where the learning happens.

So instead of being embarrassed by the bloopers, celebrate them.

They're proof you’re trying something new.

Screenshot this and see how many you can check off.

Then tell me your number in the comments. 👇

10/03/2026

Sometimes “I’m not ready” really means “I don’t want to feel uncomfortable.”

Because being bad at something can feel vulnerable.

You might worry about looking foolish.

Making mistakes.

Being the person who doesn't know what they're doing.

So you avoid it.

You wait.

You tell yourself you'll try when you're stronger, more confident, or more prepared.

And the waiting feels safer.

But here's the catch:

The thing protecting you from embarrassment can also be protecting you from growth.

You don't have to force yourself to do something terrifying today.

Just get curious.

Ask yourself:

“Where am I choosing comfortable over growth?”

Then take one tiny step toward it.

That's enough for today.

10/02/2026

You don't have to earn your place in the pole studio.

You don't have to be flexible enough.

Strong enough.

Confident enough.

Experienced enough.

Or look a certain way.

You don't have to walk in already knowing what you're doing.

You're allowed to be new.

You're allowed to wobble.

You're allowed to ask questions.

You're allowed to mess up a move and laugh about it.

You're allowed to take up space while you're still learning.

Because you don't become worthy of being there after you get good.

You belong there while you're becoming good.

And maybe that's the bigger lesson:

You don't have to become someone else before you're allowed to start.

You can start as exactly who you are.
