225U Select finishes off a perfect 4-0 opening weekend in Houston at the Perfect Game 14U Summer Championships after an 8-2 Semifinal win over the Lake Houston Storm and a 6-1 Championship Game victory over Marucci Elite Texas-Diggs!

In the Semifinal win, Joe Thompson was terrific on the mound. He tossed a 6-inning complete game 2-hitter, allowing only 1 ER while striking out 3 on just 69 pitches. Colin Vaughn was a perfect 2-2 with a run and an RBI and Will Boudreaux, Robbie Miesch, Joe Thompson, John Walker, and Hayes Leitner all added hits in the win.

In the Championship game victory, Mark Wilson made his 225U Select pitching debut and was incredible in the complete game win. He tossed 6 innings allowing only 5 hits and 1 ER while striking out 4. Landon Morvant, Will Boudreaux, and Robbie Miesch each collected multi-hit games and combined for a double, a triple, 3 runs, and 2 RBI. Luke Doiron and Luke Skinner combined to drive in 3 more runs in the win.

WHAT A YEAR!

225U Select wraps up the 2026 Spring season with a 36-12 overall record including 7 Championship Game appearances and 3 Tournament Championships.

In the first-ever 225U-affiliated Select season, the boys set the bar incredibly high for what the standard will be for the future of this branch of the organization. We can not wait to see all the incredible things these young men accomplish as they make the jump to the High School level.

225U Select opens up Gold Bracket play in the 2D Nashville Opener with an 11:15 AM Semifinal matchup with Twitty City Carter at Middle Tennessee State University.

SELECT WINS!

225U Select wraps up Pool Play in the 2D Nashville Opener with a 7-1 win over US Elite Baseball-Sandoval!

John Walker was excellent on the mound, tossing 3.2 hitless and scoreless innings, picking up 1 strikeout. Will Boudreaux and Robbie Miesch combined to toss 2 innings of relief, allowing only 1 hit and 0 ER while punching out 2. Robbie Miesch, Eli Tanner, Luke Doiron and Bennett Knight led the offense. Miesch and Knight reached in all 6 of their combined plate appearances, combining to score 4 runs. Tanner and Doiron each added hits and RBIs.

With the win, Select has locked up a spot in the Gold bracket which is held at Middle Tennessee State University’s Reese Smith Jr. Field on Sunday!
