Buxx Boys 8U

It’s truthfully a post we heartbreakingly prayed we wouldn’t have to make, but sometimes God answers our prayers for healing on his side of heaven instead of ours. We’ve lost one of our Buxx Boys 8u biggest fans! That saying, ‘to know her was to love her’ definitely fit Mrs. Kenna to a tee. She loved all our boys just like they were her very own! She was one of our loudest & proudest cheerleaders always sitting front row. If you watch any of our videos you can hear her hooping & hollering for those boys in the background. She even gave several of our kids their nicknames! Buxx Boys Saturdays won’t be the same without her & Mr. Lamar fussing over how to put up the tent, her making friends with the umpires or her yelling, ‘Let’s play ball’ when the other team is taking too long to get started. We can’t imagine her not being there with us anymore, but we know she has the best seat in the house now.

Please keep Coach Kevin, Mr. Lamar, Katlyn, Kixton, Kaden & the rest of their family in your prayers.

We’re so thankful that Coach Kevin saw the vision for our team & put such an awesome group of players, coaches & our Buxx family together! He may want to play every weekend or get a little base running happy on 3rd base sometimes 🤭, but we can’t imagine this team without him. Thank you for all you do Coach Kevin to support, build up & coach our Buxx Boys!!! We hope you have a good birthday!

He’s the one that throws the heat & tries really hard to not get line drived! 😂 He’s the calm, cool & collected one, but you put him coaching a base & another side of Coach Austin comes out.

Buxx Boys 8U are coming home as tournament runner up & you know what…we’re not even mad about it! Today was so much fun! The boys tried out turf fields for the 1st time & it was our 1st PG tournament. The moms had a blast coaching pool games, hitting balls pre-game to the boys, choosing & announcing walk up songs & even broke out pink wigs.
