Houston Silver Balls

Saturday Legends D Division pool play at Ipride Cup in Tampa. Went 2-1 in pool play and ended up seeded 4th out of 10 teams. Rough start with tournament play in the late afternoon. Lost our opener 11-10 but are looking to redeem ourselves Sunday.

It was a good day for softball and our Silver Balls went 1-1 for last weekend for Montrose Softball League Association Week #9. Dropping the first game against Homo La Flor and rallying back in the second game against HOU Smoke. Two more weeks of Spring Season left.

Week #6 may have been a rained out but the Silver Balls were ready to play Week #7. The visiting Balls were able to stay ahead of the Bombshell through the top of the final inning. But the Bombshells regrouped to score the winning run to end the game. Games 2 against the Houston Peacocks was just as tough, but this time as the home team, the Balls were able to rally for the win. Ending the day 1-1.
