Most of us are introduced to yoga through movement.

The poses.
The sequencing.
The structure of a class.

And while that’s a part of the practice,
it was never meant to be the whole of it.

Yoga was cultivated as a holistic system.
A way of relating to the body, the breath, and the mind
with the intention of liberation.

Moksha.

But liberation from what?

From suffering.

Not always the loud, obvious kind.
But the quiet, everyday ways it shows up:

disconnection
numbness
pushing through
overriding what the body is asking for

A life lived slightly outside of yourself.

And this is where somatics begins to matter.

Because you can move through an entire flow
and still be disconnected.

You can hit every pose, every cue,
and still not feel anything at all.

Somatics brings you back into the experience.

Into the subtle.

Into sensation.

It shifts the focus from
“What does this look like?”
to
“What does this feel like?”

From performing the practice
to actually being in relationship with your body.

And sometimes, that relationship starts very simply.

Slowing down.
Pausing.
Noticing where you’re holding.

Not fixing it.
Just feeling it.

Because awareness over time
is what begins to soften the patterns
we’ve been carrying.

Not force.
Not perfection.

Just presence.

If this resonated, take a moment today to slow one movement down
and notice what’s there.

You might be surprised by what your body has been waiting to say.

Something new is beginning this Friday. ✨🤲🏾

The Third Space is a weekly somatic ritual: a space to slow down, listen inward, and move in a way that feels intentional and supportive.

This isn’t a typical yoga class, and it’s not just about rest.

It’s a practice of noticing.
Of feeling what’s actually happening in your body.
Of building strength, awareness, and connection over time.

Each month is held as a 4-week series, so the work can deepen rather than reset each week.

If you’ve been craving something more grounded, more intentional, or more connected, this is for you.

First session begins this Friday at 5:30 PM.

You can attend each class individually, but the series is where the shift happens.

Mala meditation is a beautiful way to anchor your mind, deepen your breath, and cultivate mindfulness
one bead at a time.🌿✨

Malas have 108 beads to represent sacredness, wholeness, and completion.

✨ In meditation practice, the 108 beads provide a rhythm for repetition each bead representing one breath, mantra, or intention until the cycle is complete.

In this Mala Meditation workshop, you will be guided through the history, intention, creation of your own mala and practice of using mala beads as a tool for mindfulness and meditation. 📿

A soft place to land. 🫶🏾🫂

In a world that moves fast, this space was created for slowing down
for movement, breath, conversation, and community.

My hope is that when you walk through these doors, you feel a little more at home in your body. 🏠

The door is always open for you here. ✨
