Happy 25th Birthday to my son! So proud of him! Love you much!!❤️❤️
Congratulations to President Biden and VP Harris! 💗💚
Recently, I received a calendar from a colleague, and it is called “National Day” 2021 calendar. Everyday of the year, 365 days, it is “National (something) Day”. And yes, it has the traditional holidays and special days that we recognize in the United States, but it ranges from the who would have thought that we would recognize that to some incredibly special things that one expects to see.
Some of the things, that I would not even think about acknowledging are National Tin Can Day (1/19), National Bubble Tea Day (4/30) or National Paperclip Day (1/29). But suffice it to say that everything means something to somebody, and somebody cared enough about their “thing” to make it on the National Day calendar.
If we can acknowledge Sunscreen Day (5/27), Lucky Penny Day (5/23) or Fairy Day (6/24), surely you can acknowledge yourself and everyday should be National (insert your name) Day!
Everyday, you should celebrate YOU! Yes, we have our birthdays, and we should celebrate living another year, but I’m talking about celebrating the little things about you every day. You are unique and are fearfully and wonderfully made and that’s reason to celebrate every day. So, I challenge you to celebrate one thing about yourself every day, that’s 365 wonderful things about you.
If you can’t think of something to celebrate about yourself every day, we need to talk so that we can rediscover the amazing YOU!
The link to my calendar is below, please set up some time for us to talk. I’m looking forward to speaking with you and celebrating National YOU Day!

For me, there were many positives in 2020, but one of the most memorable was bringing home my new puppy - Dice! ❤️ #2020

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT...don’t throw in the towel on 2020 yet! You still have time to finish strong. I know you came in with 2020 Vision and then the events of 2020 kindof shook us. But, the year is not over! Nope it’s not over. To finish strong:
1. Recommit to your goal, 2. Focus on effort driven steps, 3. Identify what you need to stop doing that is preventing you from achieving your goal and STOP doing it, 4. Keep doing what’s working and 5. Start doing those things that will get you to the finish line.
Sharing a hug with my Top Dog on National Let’s Hug Day!
Today is National Let’s Hug Day! Show some love and kindness today VIRTUALLY!
#drarlondastevens #goodlife
Do you know what today is? It’s National Let’s Hug Day!!
Hugging has been around for ages and practiced by almost all cultures. A hug is given for many reasons and various scenarios. But at the end of the day, a hug is a way to connect and show kindness without using verbal language.
So while in today’s environment, we may not want to go around hugging everybody, we can’t or shouldn’t do that, but if you think about what a hug represents, we can certainly show acts of kindness and connect with others virtually.
So today, I challenge you to reach out to someone and show some love and kindness. A quick call or Zoom chat goes along way. It’s the thought that counts!
I’m sending you a virtual hug and feel free to pass along. And don’t forget to give yourself a hug, because you deserve it!
Thanksgiving is not a just a date on the calendar. Giving thanks and having a attitude of gratitude should be a daily discipline that we practice all of the time.
When you are thankful, it changes your mindset and can change the narrative of your life. And it helps you live a life of CHARM!!
So as you reflect, what are you thankful for this year?
I am thankful for the health of me and my family, peace of mind and the new addition to my family - Dice and the list continues.....
Share your thoughts....
Live with CHARM: Define your GOALS and determine your WHY!
What is your WHY? Do share...
Have an enjoyable, COVID-19 friendly Thanksgiving! Follow the guidance from the CDC so you and your loved ones are safe!
It’s Manners Monday!!
So ordinarily around this time I would be focusing on entertaining and dining etiquette but of course this year is like no other.
In case you are still planning on hosting Thanksgiving dinner, wanted to share with you a few tips from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) so that you have an enjoyable, COVID-19 friendly day!
And yes Manners Still Matter during a pandemic!!
One of the first lessons we learned as child was to be a good sport and practice good sportsmanship. Nobody likes a sore loser!
What we see at the highest level is a display of unsportsmanlike conduct.
So what makes a good sport?
*Having a positive attitude
*Treating the opponent with respect
*Accepting the loss without complaining or whining
In life we have to learn how to accept our defeats and humbly accept our victories. While you may not be playing an actual sport, there are situations when you may be competing for a job or promotion or some other situation where there is a winner or a loser. One thing for sure is that at some point in your life, your sportsmanship will be on display.
At the end of the day, good sportsmanship is about respect for others and self-control. And having respect for others is foundational for living with CHARM!
Live with CHARM and help a sistah out!
I see myself in the future and things look so much brighter. What does your future look like?
