I was feeling down because I miss my husband and kids. I haven’t been skating much since it’s so damn hot and humid all the time. My body feels and shows it. That and all the Filipino eats, Sarap🤤! I’ve been shying away from posting because of my roundness. Learning to love the vessel I’m in no matter the shade or size. I promise to always be authentic when posting in my triumphs and struggles. I only have enough energy to deliver the real me.

In an effort to lift myself up I grabbed my skates for some therapy. It’s so healing.

Looking for volunteer Saturdays 11am-2pm to open for open skate and help with rentals. Trade off is to be able to skate for free at any of our open skates.

No open skates for us during spring break.

Morning skate on the upper deck at my parent’s house. No edits, raw and unapologetically authentically me. This is only the second time I’ve laced up since arriving here and both for a very short session. Next time I’m going to sweep it first. My father’s bedroom window is right next to the patio and he thought there were fighter jets going by as our coastal line faces China and there is do much uncertainty around the globe. Nope, just me and my skates in the rising sun. ☀️
