Belly Up Bait and Tackle

Never fished the Quemahoning Resevoir. Today, we came and conquered. Thank goodness for the 2.8" Belly Gill, it was the reason for 90% of our catches. Had a tough time getting them to bite anything else. Rigged it on a drop shot and also fished it texas rigged in tree tops. These fish loved it! Great lake with very quality hard fighting bass. Definitely will be back to explore more!

Rarely will you ever see a post on here about a lure that is not made or painted by us, but!! I have been throwing Jitterbugs for decades, and will never stop. I promise you guys that the new Jitterbugs in stores are not even close to the action of the old ones. So if you find old ones, get them and keep them!! Never know when a big ol' girl will be waiting for a big jittering meal!!

Holy Moly the pond was hot today!! MamaBelly was on them, as usual. Goober was training on new techniques for targeting largemouth bass, needless to say, he did just fine!

Fish were caught on our 5" Tickle Stix, custom painted 2.5" pumpkinseed glide, 2.8" Belly Gill, and our custom 1/4 oz buzzbait.

Back at Shawnee again, all the rain cooled the water down and raised it up, but the Belly Up Boys were still able to get them to bite!

Fishing Report! Shawnee Lake was hammering today. 70° water temps, the bluegill and crappie are up shallow and biting, as well as the bass! Caught them on alot today, our 5", and 1" Tickle Stix, Our tube baits, Jerky Stix, and Belly Gills!
