A little deadlift fun tonight with 455 x 2.

Lela benched plates tonight (135 lbs). It’s been a journey to get to this. This is a milestone, especially for a petite, 16 year old girl. To say I’m proud would be an understatement. This came the same week as her earning her black belt in Tang Soo Do karate. This all comes from hard work and a strong faith, and my kid certainly excels at both! 💪🏼🙏🏻,

340 for a top set of 8 paused today. Also did 315, 320 and 330 for sets of 8. Good volume night!

11 year old video of 450 x 2 on the bench under a single light bulb in my garage. The Haüs was part of my house back in those days. Watching this makes me miss my 39 year old elbows and makes me appreciate my current backyard gym! Thanks to Brian Butler for digging this out of the archives!
