Belle Plaine Cross-country teams had a great showing today in Albert Lea. The squads had overall winners in the JH boys (Brody) Varsity Girls (Kallie) Varsity Boys (Zach). As a team both Varsity squads win and JH Girls take 2nd in a close race by one point.

The Cross-country teams travel south today for a much smaller meet in Albert Lea and the Section 1AA course.
Race Times:
4:00 pm-Jr. High boys & girls 2500 m
4:30 pm-JV/V girls 5000 m
5:10 pm-JV/V boys 5000 m

It was a great day.
JH and JV Girls place 3rd with Vivian and Etta taking 1st place in their races.
The boys and girls varsity both place top 10 as a team.

The Cross-country teams are in Montgomery for the Gerry Smith Invitational. Over 30 teams from the area will be competing today.
4:00 C Squad Boys Race (2500 Meters) 7th & 8th only.
4:30 C Squad Girls Race (2500 Meters) 7th & 8th only.
5:00 JV Boys Race (5000 Meters)
5:30 JV Girls Race (5000 Meters)

Our first official meet today has us traveling to Marshall for a small Invitational in Southwest Minnesota. There will be no short of competition pushing us early in the season.
