Wednesdays from 4:30 – 6:00 PM
Room 140 @ Bellingham High
October 12, 19, 26 & November 2, 9, 16, 30

Tournament: Saturday, December 4th
at Liberty High School in Renton, WA

Unified Robotics - STEM to Students with Special Needs Unified Robotics is a student-designed program bringing STEM to Students with Special Needs.

CALLING ALL ATHLETES AND UNIFIED PARTNERS!

WHAT - Unified Soccer scrimmage to celebrate joy, inclusion, and wellness at the Bellingham Public Schools Kick-off Event.

WHEN - August 29; arrive at 8 AM; play at around 8:45 AM; wrap up around 9:15 AM

WHO - Any and all Unified athlete and partners interested

BRING - basic soccer gear – cleats/sneakers, socks, and t-shirt (we will provide shirts/pinnies so we can make teams)

TRANSPORTATION - let Laurel Peak know if you need transportation

Please RSVP to Laurel by end of day Wednesday, August 24, so we can make teams and communicate any final details.

The Bellingham Independents Community Program is looking for a head coach, assistant coach and volunteers for their swimming program.

NOTE - This is for the community program, not the school district program, but wanted to reach out through as many media outlets as possible.

Ariella Ross needs to step down at this time. We appreciate the time, energy and commitment she gave to build a great program!

Looking for WWU Unified Basketball players and volunteers!

The local Bellingham Public Schools Community Transitions 18-21 Program is looking for Western students to join a Unified Basketball team.

Unified Sports is a division of Special Olympics that brings together people with disabilities and people without disabilities to play on a Unified team.

WWU has previously had a Unified Flag Football team, Unified Bowling team and Unified Soccer team. We are hoping to start up Unified Basketball in December and are looking for people interested in being unified partners and volunteers. No previous basketball or sport-related experience required, but helpful.

Commitment: 1 90 minute practice per week for 10 weeks (not on weekends), possibly 1 Regional tournament (on a weekend)
