Congratulations to Griselda Cuevas on graduating from Western! Griselda completed a bachelors degree in Science. Griselda is a two time Northwest Conference finalist, two time national qualifier, and a two time All-American. Her support for women’s wrestling is felt beyond our wrestling room. Griselda is the head coach for the Sehome High School Wrestling team. We look forward to seeing all she does in both her personal life and the sport of Wrestling. Congratulations Griselda, we will miss you so much! Vikings Forever!

What a weekend!! Western wrestlers took on the Northwest Conference and came out with a bunch of hardware! The Men and Women Teams both took 3rd in their divisions! Individually we placed 7 with 4 Conference Champions. Western will take on the NCWA National Tournament in 10 Days traveling to Puerto Rico.

Traveled to Pullman this weekend with a short staff but battled hard against Washington State who just won western regional duals and Big Bend. Had two duals against WSU facing two lineups.

The team competed in the Washington state championships today. We had 8 wrestlers place today. On the Mens team we had .e.a.m.u.s get 3rd at 149, get first place at 157, place 2nd at 184, place 2nd at 235, and place 2nd at 285. On the women’s side placed first and ._.yam placed 3rd.

Had a great day at the Mat ‘Cat Invite! The Mens team placed 5th with 7 individual placer highlighted by Kyle Huard who placed 3rd. On the Women’s side Griselda was our sole competitor and placed 3rd!
