New up at Jeff Kendall-Weed - perhaps the most controversial bike of the year?
A look at the new e-bike from Amflow Bikes, from BTS of the influencer's ethical dilemma, to our mosquito-infested ride in Revelstoke.

What do you get when you put a beginner on a not-yet-released eMTB on black crosscountry trails in the Whistler Valley?
Something like this. Not your typical bike review, through the lens of the female perspective - riding the new Pivot Cycles Shuttle SL/AM and pushing my tech skill limits on a solo "choose your own adventure" ride, while Jeff rides opening day at Whistler's Bike Park.
Translation: a philosophical and experiential essay that is focused on what it means to be living life outloud, without the noise of gear tech getting in the way of the human experience.
Thanks for Jeff Kendall-Weed for letting me play with some creativity for this piece!
Look to the comments for the l!nk. 👀

The world taught her to shrink.
To fade into the background, letting the needs of others override
her wildest dreams,
her deepest desires.
Always too much or never enough.
After enough cycles of rebirth,
she chose to rise -
barefoot, fierce, tender, unapologetically whole.
She sweats not to punish her body,
but to remember her strength.
Physical power that ripples from her core,
a primal knowing that if all else fails -
if her world crumbles -
she can carry it on her back.
And oh, how she loves.
Deeply. Wildly.
Starting with herself.
Standing tall in the wisdom that she comes first.
Trusting that as long as
she follows her calling
with confidence, vulnerability, and integrity,
her person will one day
meander onto her path.
Until then, she hones her purpose
with an obsession that spreads like wildfire -
knowing that love is not something to be sought,
but something to become.
She walks forward, not unscarred -
but unafraid.
Her spine as strong and resilient as the tallest redwood,
reinforced with an ethos no one can shake.
This is her path.
This is your calling.
Will you listen?

Griffin Coombs and Savannah Wishart have come together in the world’s best new podcast!
🎙 Forging Fluidity: on navigating primal purpose.
We are finally coming together in an organic dialog where we weave together various layers of the consciously-lived (and unpretentious) human experience.
We have had SO many incredible conversations over the years, where I walk away thinking, "We should have recorded this! The world is missing out on eavesdropping on our wisdom."
Following my compass focused on "allow it to be easy," this podcast fits perfectly. Our conversations have always flowed with easy, and we naturally dive deep. Our chemistry naturally builds on each other and nudges us deeper, shifting our perspectives and shining light on blindspots.
As coaches and lifelong athletes, we invite you into our personal journeys of transformation, growth, and challenge - how we support ourselves, each other, and our clients in the constant state of change across the full spectrum of life.
Connecting with core values around primal health, functional movement, nutrient-dense nutrition, mindset, breath-work, and everything in-between - Griffin and Savannah have forged a strong friendship fueled by deeply powerful conversations around their experiences navigating the modern world with uncommon perspectives.
We would love if you have a listen, rate our show, and help us grow!

"Me fui a surfear, probablemente no vuelva nunca."
Gone surfing, be back never.
Sitting on the beach overlooking Amado after my double session of surf, I couldn’t help laughing at where life has taken me. Or where I have taken life. Whichever it might be - probably a team effort, I suppose.
As the sun slowly sunk closer to dunking itself like a glowing cookie into the Atlantic, I watched waves build, form, roll toward shore, and break. Small dots that were surfers watched, waited, and began paddling. Or they didn’t.
Suddenly the ocean is something to analyze and understand.
Storytelling over at Exposure - so far, I'm loving it!
