Receiving the “Culture of Caring” studio award this weekend was such an honor. These types of awards mean so much more to us than any first place, overall, triple ultra platinum ever could. Knowing that our mission of building amazing dancers who are even more amazing humans is not only successful, but is being recognized by our peers is humbling & inspiring.

Competition dance has a bad rep, but truly some of the most beautiful relationships have blossomed from this sport. We might be competing “against” one another, but really we are competing TOGETHER! Every owner, teacher, and director we’ve been lucky enough to come across throughout the years has something so wonderful and unique to offer. There is room for everyone and for every dancer, as there should be!

Thank you to all of our studio friends we look forward to seeing every season as well as all the new friends we gained through the weekend - seeing your beautiful work and incredible pieces brings us so much joy and inspiration! We love getting to know you all, to watch your dancers grow, and if you know Miss Emma, you know she LOVES jamming out with you all in the audience!

Thank you to for recognizing our dancers’ talent and hearts, and for such a fun-filled weekend. We loved our first time with you and can’t wait to come back! Special shout out to - joking & giggling our way through the weekend with you was an absolute joy.

Thank you to our wonderful parents who back us up, collaborate with us in raising some truly one of a kind kids, and value what we value & the culture we work so hard to build and maintain.

Shout out to our incredible instructors - you are the ones who put this into practice every day. Helping our students through good days and bad, loving & supporting them beyond their class sessions, and never forgetting that while working with children is a privilege, it is also a big responsibility. Thank you for taking that responsibility as seriously as you do. We are lucky to have you all.

Finally, but most importantly, thank you to our students - both on and off the comp team - who know that being a stellar athlete and a stellar human are not mutually exclusive, but that in fact that leading with kindness, love, respect, and humility makes you a BETTER athlete! You walk the walk every day; you’re accountable, hard working, and inspired by seeing others who are “better” than we are. We are more and more proud of you every day, and we love you more than you know. You make our studio home; you make us EDC.
