Join us for an evening of sacred song, connection, and cacao ✨

Gather with Jen Lo and special guests Luke, Nick, and Saul of the Karuna Kirtan Collective from Guatemala for a heart-opening night of kirtan — an ancient call-and-response chanting practice that invites presence, joy, and community. We’ll weave sacred song with ceremonial cacao — revered as ‘Food of the Gods’

Together we’ll share simple Sanskrit chants, ceremonial cacao, and a space to soften, connect, and sing freely. No experience needed — just bring your voice and an open heart.

The Karuna Kirtan Collective is based out of Karuna Atitlan, a conscious community on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. They are bringing the magic of “Hummingbird Valley” in the Mayan Katchequel heartland on their “Heart Revival” West Coast summer tour — first stop, Bellingham!

👉Their mission is to garner support for Integral Heart Family, a 501(c)(3) charity in Antigua Guatemala that provides children born into generational poverty with full educational and holistic support including academics, human rights education, yoga, meditation, and art❤️

Longer days, warmer light, a subtle shift you can feel 🌞

✨As we move toward the Summer Solstice, this extended practice is a chance to slow down, reset, and ease into the energy of the season ahead.

✨We’ll start with the fiery, expansive qualities of summer through aromatherapy and Vinyasa, then settle into the cooling energy of grounded Yin postures.

✨Along the way: hands-on assists, essential oils, and cool lavender towels to help you land a little deeper. We’ll close with an extended savasana and sound bath—singing bowls, chimes, and gong—followed by tea and a little space to just be.

👉Come as you are. Leave feeling clearer, steadier, and a bit more connected to yourself.

Shoutout to everyone showing up for practice lately. When we come to the studio, we know we will not be here alone and that we have the support of a community or ‘Sangha.’

Thich Nhat Hanh, Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace activist, has described sangha as a “beloved community,” and we certainly feel that here❤️

Begin next year by nurturing your wellbeing surrounded by the slow, soulful vibes of Baja. Join Claire & Dani for a 6-day / 5- night all-inclusive experience at El Campo, a creative retreat space designed to support movement and connection that effortlessly blends modern simplicity with Baja warmth.

Enjoy daily light-hearted yoga practices and meals shaped by what’s fresh and local: fish purchased directly off the boats at Punta Lobos and vegetables harvested from the on-site garden. Based just a short 15-minute stroll from some of coastal Baja’s most swimmable sandy beaches, the days naturally open into unhurried time for soaking up the rhythm and culture of the surrounding landscape — one that naturally invites you to exhale.

INCLUSIONS:

💫 6 days / 5 nights accommodation in one of the two fully equipped houses on El Campo’s property — both offering expansive views of the Pacific, surrounding farmlands, and mountains

💫 Twice-daily yoga & mindfulness sessions led by Claire & Dani in El Campo’s beautiful palapa-covered studio with floor-to-ceiling doors that open west toward the farms and sea

💫 Farm-to-table brunches and dinners prepared by award-winning chef Lucía Benítez, along with a range of nourishing snacks and beverages available through the day

💫 Access to dipping pool & hot tub, infrared sauna, fire pits, sunlit patios, and shaded terraces with hammocks

💫 Handbound Journal & Retreat Gift

Ample free time is woven into the retreat to allow space to move at your own pace between practices. For those who want to explore all the Pacific coast of Baja has to offer, time can be spent taking a surf lesson at Cerritos Beach, whale watching along the shoreline, or exploring nearby Todos Santos — a colorful town known for its thriving arts and culinary scene. While those seeking stillness can simply stay close — resting and recharging among El Campo’s gardens, dipping pool, and quiet outdoor nooks.

Since Mother Nature decided to kick off summer early, we thought we would too by opening up the deck for outdoor classes starting THIS weekend! ☀️

We’ll ease into the deck yoga season with a smaller rotation of weekly classes, then gradually expand and adjust outdoor class offerings as we move deeper into summer — so keep an eye on our online schedule for the latest updates.

And before you join Amber on the deck this Saturday for our first open-air Vinyasa class of the season, we have a few quick reminders about what to expect when practicing outside with us:

👉 The deck is an uncovered, open air space, so classes are subject to the elements — please come prepared for variable conditions with sun protection, extra layers, and plenty of water!

👉 Deck classes may be moved indoors if needed. We do our best to share updates and provide advance notice for schedule shifts, but last-minute changes can happen

👉 Please check in for outdoor classes at the front desk, by way of our main door as usual, before proceeding through the studio to reach the deck

A slower kind of evening, right on time for the shift into summer🌿

✨Join Mackenzie and local acupuncturist Cadie Selah for a practice that holds both effort and ease — exploring how to stay steady in your boundaries while also letting yourself soften.

✨We’ll move through a 70-minute slow Vinyasa + Yin practice, then settle into savasana with a few gentle acupuncture points to support rest and integration.

✨We’ll wrap up with tea and a little quiet space before heading back out into the world.

👉Simple, grounded, and intentionally unhurried

A community member recently brought this gorgeous Buddha statue home from her trip to India. The hand gesture, or Mudra, that he is making is called the Abhaya Mudra.

🤲The term “Abhaya” derives from the Sanskrit word for “fearlessness.” It is one of Buddhist iconography’s most significant hand gestures that represents protection, peace, and the dispelling of fear.

This gesture is rich in symbolism, conveying several vital messages:

✨Protection: The raised hand acts as a shield, offering protection from fear, danger, and negative influences
✨Reassurance: It assures the devotee of the Buddha’s compassionate presence and ability to provide safety and security
✨Fearlessness encourages the practitioner to overcome personal fears and challenges, promoting inner strength and confidence.
✨Peace: The open palm signifies openness

We are honored to have such a beautiful part of the Yogic tradition right across from our front desk❤️

💛What does it mean to let go—of expectations, control, or even the people we love?

This workshop offers a gentle, contemplative space to explore presence, impermanence, and love through Yin yoga and guided writing.

👉Yoga will be led by Kendall Tetsworth, with writing guided by Brenda Miller—author of six essay collections and the poetry chapbook The Daughters of Elderly Women, recipient of seven Pushcart Prizes, co-author of Tell It Slant and The Pen and the Bell, and Professor Emerita of Creative Writing at Western Washington University.

We’ll move through long-held Yin poses to quiet the nervous system, followed by short, accessible writing prompts focused on memory, gratitude, and release.

✨ All levels welcome
✨ No yoga or writing experience needed

Especially meaningful for those navigating caregiving, grief, or life transitions.
